Overview Serve guests in hospitable manner to ensure positive guest experience. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Maintains proper and adequate set-up of the bar on a daily basis. This includes requisitioning and stocking of all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments and produce based on projections from the daily functions sheet. * Responsible for maintaining stock, cutting, and storing of all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables daily to ensure product quality. * Greets guests in a courteous and friendly manner, promotes and documents orders for drinks. Mixes, garnishes, and presents drinks using standard ingredient recipes and practicing prudent portion control. * Abide by all State, Federal and Corporate requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages. * Inputs orders into a register at the point of sale and creates a check for each guest, including those served by other beverage servers, to maintain accountability of all beverages served. * Receives cash from guests, makes any change needed, verifies validity of charges, records charges, and ensures vouchers are properly executed, in order to balance all money. * Locks and stores all beverage, food and other equipment items, deposits cash drops and secures bank. * Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis. * Perform any other job-related duties as assigned. Qualifications and Skills * Hotel experience preferred. * Must communicate well with guests. * Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service of various alcoholic beverages. * Basic mathematical skills necessary to operate a cash register, make change, total guest checks, count total bank, prepare cash drops, total all other charges, and understand portion sizes. * Sufficient manual dexterity in hands in order to use a knife to make garnish, pick up glassware and bottles, scoop ice, mix drinks, and reach overhead to retrieve stock with or without reasonable accommodation. * Ability to remember, recite and promote the variety of menu items with or without reasonable accommodation. * Ability to operate a keyboard and point of sale procedures to pre-check an order and close out a check with or without reasonable accommodation. * Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for long periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation. * Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, customers, and patrons. * Effective verbal and written communication skills. As a Sales Gallery Coordinator you will be responsible for providing outstanding service to both our internal and external customers while supporting Sales and Marketing Departments by performing a variety of responsibilities in a smooth and consistent manner. Responsibilities: * Set and update the various Sales Executive rotations daily and any specialty rotations on the effective dates. * Check in guests and owners for their sales presentation and assign appropriate Sales Executives with accurate codes. * Answer all phone calls and direct to the appropriate extension number. * Supervise daily attendance and training attendance. * Take inventory and stock of all kitchen supplies including but not limited to: Food, Coffee, Juice, Paper Good/Cleaning Supplies, and Soda. * Assist with extra premiums for all departments and reconciles nightly. * Carries out all reasonable requests by management of which a team member is capable of performing. The Night Audit position is leading all aspects of the auditing, posting and balancing of daily financial transactions to support the resort continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. You will be responsible for driving company success through performing the following activities to the highest standards: Follows proper audit procedures to balance daily revenue and expense transactions, identifies the causes of out-of-balance situations in a timely manner, produces various reports for management and takes initiative to correct errors to prevent reoccurrence. Ensures that all charges have been properly posted to the appropriate guest folio or master account, balanced with all supporting documentation Reconciles all charges to the general ledger. Prepares back-up files and closes out shift and day on reservation system, including preparing system for next day of business. Generates housekeeping reports and prints folios departures. Compiles daily revenue reports and files work accordingly. Responsible for accurate management of cash funds and daily shift deposits. Assist with Front Office duties and is the overnight guest service agent. Calculates account balance at month-end and submits to accounting. Processes reservation advance deposits from receipt of reservation information to depositing and logging all monies. Performs all Front desk duties including check-in, check-out and cashier procedures in a proper and efficient manner. Assists with guest and owner needs and requests delivering outstanding hospitality at all times. Assists with other departmental duties such as bell stand, answering phones, etc. Reports any unresolved problems with owners and guests to management. Maintains clean work area. Provides information on area attractions and resort amenities. Types departments as needed and carries out other duties as assigned by management; responding to all guest requests to ensure client satisfaction; willing to "pitch-in" and help co- workers with their job duties and be an outstanding teammate. Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established and revised by HGVC from time to time, is needed to the successful performance of this position. Qualifications What are we looking for? High School diploma/GED Proficient English language, able to communicate both verbally and in writing. Open and flexible availability, including weekends and holidays Customer service or similar related experience.
