Overview
Ensure the arrival, departure, and any other guest contact experiences are conducted in an efficient and friendly manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Comprehend and abide by all traffic regulations while transporting customers to and from the airport terminal or other designated site.
Park guest vehicles and/or retrieve valet parked guest vehicles in a timely and courteous manner; use claim tickets to ensure appropriate delivery of vehicle. Move from door post to and from other areas throughout the hotel in response to customer needs.
Greet guests immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome. Open car doors for arriving and departing hotel customers.
Respond immediately to customer inquiries regarding hotel features, services, and assistance. •Provide clear and understandable directions to hotel facilities and nearby attractions.
Maintain driveway traffic flow to allow main hotel entrance accessibility ensuring ample space for passenger and luggage loading and unloading.
Listen, understand, and respond immediately to guest and associate inquiries and requests for assistance.
Lift luggage, packages and boxes from cars, buses, vans, and carts, placing items on the ground, onto baggage carts, conveyors or other vehicles.
Clearly communicate the features and services of the hotel facilities.
Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
Hotel experience preferred.
Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy to defuse anger.
Ability to ascertain information from luggage tags, claim checks and to identify specific airline/customer pickup and drop off points and street signs.
Ability to grasp, lift and/or carry or otherwise move packages, boxes and luggage. Sufficient manual dexterity in one hand to be able to load and unload luggage with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to stand, walk and/or sit and continuously perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Overview
This position requires open availability as the position is scheduled by the needs of the hotel.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist with room maintenance and complete work orders such as replacing ceiling tiles, light bulbs, patching vinyl, etc., to maintain the hotel and keep the product quality standard.
Perform preventative maintenance assignments in hotel rooms on a scheduled basis.
Assist in checking electrical systems such as air conditioning controls, television sets, lighting systems, and make minor repairs and/or replacement.
Qualifications and Skills
Vocational schooling or experience in the maintenance.
Hotel experience preferred.

Overview
Assist the Front Office Manager in managing the Front Office operations to achieve customer satisfaction, quality service and compliance with corporate/franchise policies and procedures while meeting/exceeding financial goals. Ensure that the arrival, departure, and any other guest contact experience are conducted in an efficient and friendly manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction to staff. Assign and instruct guest service agents in details of work. Observes performance and encourages improvement.
Greet guests immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome. Use a positive and clear speaking voice, listen to and understand requests, respond with appropriate actions and provide accurate information such as outlet hours and local attractions.
Promptly complete the registration process by inputting and retrieving information from a computer system, confirming pertinent information including number of guests and room rate. Promote •HEI Hotels and Resorts and brand-specific marketing programs. Make appropriate selection of rooms based on guest needs. Code electronic keys. Nonverbally confirm the room number and rate. Provide welcome folders containing room keys, certificates, coupons and refreshment center keys as appropriate. Close out guest accounts at time of check out.
Verify and imprint credit cards for authorization using electronic acceptance methods. Handle cash, make change and balance an assigned house bank. Accept and record vouchers, traveler's checks and other forms of payment. Perform accurate moderately complex arithmetic functions using a calculator. Post charges to guest rooms and house accounts using the computer.
Promptly answer the telephone using positive and clear voice. Input messages into the computer. Retrieve messages and communicate the content to the guest. Retrieve mail, small packages and facsimiles for customers as requested.
Remain calm and alert, especially during emergency situations and/or heavy hotel activity, serving as a role model for clerks and other associates. Resolve customer complications and complaints by conducting thorough research of the situation and determining the most effective solutions. Make decisions and take action based on previous experience and good judgment, sometimes revising approach to accommodate unusual situation. Authorize revenue allowances to remedy problems only after other alternative solutions have been offered.
Communicate both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction to staff.
Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
One year experience in customer service in hospitality or similar industry.
Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy to defuse anger and collect accurate information and resolve conflicts.
Basic mathematical skills and considerable skill in the use of a calculator to prepare moderately complex mathematical calculations without error.
Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system.
Ability to stand, walk and continuously perform behind the front desk. Ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing and prepare complex reports of room availability and revenues generated.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, customers and patrons.

As the **Complex Director of Sales & Marketing** , you will be responsible for overseeing commercial strategies for two hotels, **Hilton McLean Tysons Corner and Embassy Suites Old Town, Alexandria** \. Your goal is to improve the performance of the assets by connecting strategy and business processes\.
Hilton's Commercial Services organization is comprised of team members driving our sales, revenue, marketing, catering, and events management, call centers, and analytics functions\. These functions are the core of Hilton's "commercial engine" and are essential to Hilton's ability to drive profitable growth\.
**What will I be doing?**
The primary responsibilities of this position are to design, develop, and deploy business strategies that are creative, dynamic, and impactful for the Americas and lead the Hotel Sales and Marketing process\. Key deliverables for this role are to move the business analytics, processes, including cadence of activities to a "predictive and prescriptive" approach to drive performance\. This includes but is not limited to, development and communication of commercial strategies and standards through a structured cadence and analysis of company revenue performance against established goals\.
In this role, you will facilitate the delivery of the Americas Commercial Operating Model and should possess strong leadership, communication, and networking skills\.
**Strategy:**
+ Produce your hotels' Annual Multi\-Year Commercial Strategy Plan, in partnership with on\-property leaders and regional support
+ Connect the performance needs for the hotels with the solutions designed by the Hilton enterprise, in each key segment your hotels serve
+ Direct accountability for setting the strategy and delivery of your hotels revenues including group rooms, banquets, catering, business transient and leisure transient
+ Work with Commercial Leadership to ensure that Business Review Guidelines \(current to 5 years\) and Group Pricing & Rate Quotation Strategies are in place to maximize all pricing components of sales and catering opportunities and achieve positive group market share
+ Support hotel B2B marketing, digital marketing, social media, public relations and communications activities\. Guide the e\-Commerce teams to ensure online hotel content is accurate and effective
+ Work with Commercial Leaders to establish optimal business mix, review and validate revenue forecasts to improve accuracy while developing strategies for different demand periods, and review and approve retail and group pricing strategies
+ Work with fellow Executive Committee members to ensure profits are maximized in line with GOP and EBITDA targets
+ Develop and execute departmental expense budgets and forecasts
+ Develop and maintain detailed and real\-time knowledge of all competitor and market activity
+ Responsible for the execution of the Sales and Catering Sales annual SIP \(Sales Incentive Program\)
**Leadership:**
