About the Role:

Create great consumer experiences by delivering best in class programming served at its highest quality within targeted on or off premise accounts

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage channels & accounts through planning, execution and review of results against standards and KPIs
* Collaborate with distributor network to ensure focus on HEINEKEN USA portfolio at accounts & geographic territory through regular communication, training, etc. within account base
* Leverage selling resources to support KPIs at accounts, including programming execution, sampling, POS, etc.
* Partner with internal HEINEKEN USA team to ensure alignment and execution at accounts and geographic area
* Sell in and ensure execution of programming to off & on premise accounts aligned to our Picture of Success standards
* Secure distribution aligned with brand focus (i.e. draught vs. bottle)
* Ensure visibility and quality standards in accounts & geographic territory
* Leverage selling support tools such as bartender/wait staff education, sampling events, Perfect Pour elements, etc.
* Develop and maintain relationship with key account, distributor and internal HEINEKEN USA team members to ensure collective success. Build and maintain relationships at key accounts to influence and execute against HEINEKEN USA's retail standards
* Excellent Outlet Execution embedment using Consumer Drivers within assigned accounts, geographic territory, and respective distributor partners

Basic Qualifications/Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree (or relevant experience)

About the role

The Busser/Food Runner is responsible for delivering an excellent customer experience by ensuring that all items are clean and presentable before, during and after service operations of the Taproom. This position is key to maintaining service efficiency through offering assistance to the servers and proactively stocking side stations as needed while encompassing and portraying the Lagunitas brand.

What you'll do

* Ensure proper set up in all areas of the Taproom throughout service hours, including restocking clean dishes and replenish food and beverage supplies as needed
* Greet customers in a professional manner, providing excellent customer service
* May assist with preparing plats for deliver by placing garnishes on appropriate food items, etc.
* May assist with delivering food to the correct table and confirming proper order is being delivered.

* Clean and sanitize tables and chairs, in addition to maintaining cleanliness of property around the restaurant (i.e. sidewalk, etc.).

What You'll Do

* Responsible for the safety of all team members and required to audit area/tasks for safety compliance and work with EH&S manager to ensure compliance to company and OSHA policies.
* Actively participate in safety meetings, audits, and good catch program.
* Perform 5Why and accident investigation when needed.
* Monitor "Good Catch" program to ensure that action is being taken to solve safety issues.

What We're Lookin' For

* Bachelors' Degree preferred, but not required, preferably in the field of operational leadership, engineering, or similar fields.
* A minimum of 5 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.

About the Role

The Health and Safety Manager has the important role of protecting both the workers & workplace, and ensuring the organization is compliant with federal, state, and local safety and environmental requirements. This position's primary functions are to develop, implement, and monitor Lagunitas' environmental, health and safety programs. Success is gauged by compliance with regulatory requirements and by reducing or preventing injuries, hazards, and spills.

What You'll Do

* Lead managers and safety team members in the development, implementation, monitoring and revisions to Lagunitas Health and Safety programs, procedures and manuals, ensuring compliance with Heineken requirements as well as Federal, State and Local regulatory requirements.

* Develop site/subject specific training materials and train employees and managers how to meet Lagunitas specific environmental, health, and safety programs/policies in each brewery or pub.

* Administer industrial hygiene and ergonomic programs. Survey and document workplace noise, air quality and workstation ergonomics as needed to comply with OSHA regulations and injury prevention.

* Ensure facilities, machinery and equipment is regularly inspected against OSHA regulatory requirements such as walking/working surfaces, ladders, exit requirements, fire code, NFPA 70E electrical safety, machine guarding, hazardous materials storage, etc. Implement appropriate control measures to mitigate identified risks.

* Manage environmental permits, reports, and sampling/surveys (Air pollution, refrigerant management, Hazardous Waste, Storm Water Pollution Prevention.)

* Monitor personal protective equipment compliance program.

* Ensure that hazardous materials are correctly permitted, stored, and labeled.

* Organize and lead Lagunitas safety committee meetings in Petaluma and/or Chicago.

* Work with department managers to properly rehabilitate workers after accidents or injuries and make sure they experience a satisfactory return to work.

* Develop procedures and facilitate emergency response/medical care for injured employees.

* Conduct investigations and root cause analysis of accidents and unsafe working conditions; recommend remedial action.

* Update management on key safety performance benchmarks, exposures, and changing regulations.

* Maintain audits, inspections, permits, and safety & environmental documentation.

* Monitor and revise job hazard analysis and standard operating procedures as needed.

* Schedule, present, and monitor safety training program. Manage training database and training reports.

* Continuing education in safety training classes and maintaining a current understanding of all state, local and federal safety regulation updates. Attend workshops as needed.

* Principal company liaison with external agencies for injury response, permitting, and regulatory compliance (OSHA, EPA, Water Districts, Fire Departments, Air Pollution Control Boards, Workers Compensation Boards, etc.).

* Evaluate and monitor inspections, behavioral audits and near miss reports to ensure identified hazards are eliminated.

* Provide feedback to employees on safety suggestions and improvements from Near Misses.

* Partner with Operations teams to brainstorm safety improvements, assist with implementation, and communicate actions to other Lagunitas site.

* Review Capital Project plans to ensure all safety codes are met and additional safety training is completed.

* Contribute to other Brewery Operations activities and other special projects as needed

What We're Lookin' For

* A bachelor's degree in environmental or occupational safety & health or related field is desired. CSP or equivalent experience desired.

* 5-7 years' experience in areas such as environmental health, industrial hygiene or safety.

* Extensive knowledge of federal, state and local health and safety laws.

* Experience as safety trainer/instructor for: forklift/man lift, confined space entry, lockout/tag out, fall protection, HazWOpER, Life Saving Rules, etc.

* Experience in environmental sampling (water, air, noise), QISP, etc.

* Rinse, vent and CIP 60, 120, 300, 500 and 750 BBL stainless steel uni-tanks.
* Maintain cleanliness and order in the brewhouse and cellars
* Pull tank or inline samples and accurately perform tests
* Clean in Place (CIP) area specific lines and tanks: Brewhouse vessels, 750 BBL unitanks, Brite Beer Tanks
* Clean Out of Place (COP) of tank parts
* Communicate and respond to out of specification critical process control points
* Accurate and legible execution of paperwork and daily computer entries into electronic brew tracker
* Train new hires on key actions in each department within the brewery
* Work with Brewing Supervisors and Brewing Managers on special assignments or projects as needed
* Handle/weigh out raw materials
* Monitor and respond to alarms for all brewing processes on a Siemens PCS7 Control System
* Select proper yeast sources for harvesting in such a way that does not delay cellar activities
* Prepare yeast lines, pumps, and storage vessels for propagation or transfer of yeast
* Complete yeast harvesting and pitching procedures
* Clean in Place (CIP) area specific lines and tanks: Centrifuge, Filter Press, Brite Beer Tanks, Filtration Lines
* Effectively coordinate with Brewing, Cellar, and Packaging departments to prepare beer for Packaging in an efficient manner.
* Prepare filtration lines, pumps, and bright beer vessels for filtered product
* Perform Filter Press breakdowns to remove spent filter pads and solids
* Executes required daily yeast and cold trub removals
* Prepares stages and executes daily requirement of dry hopping (approximately 65% of the time spent working each day will involve some facet of dry hopping).
* Ability to pull tank samples and accurately perform daily density and pH readings as well as perform cell counts
* Provides support to the Head Brewer or Supervisor to fulfill casks and firkin orders.
* Prepares, fills and transfers beer to and from wooden barrels
* Adhere to all safety standards set by Lagunitas and OSHA.

The ideal candidate is strategic, business savvy, and passionate about craft beer, brand building, and branded consumer experiences (TapRooms). They will be a self-starter with strong multitasking abilities, communication skills, and people skills - able to wrangle many different functions while reinforcing the brand's strategic direction.

This role will be a steward of our brand and a key contributor to the marketing department, responsible for helping steer all aspects of brand marketing across multiple consumer touchpoints.

What you'll do

Commercial Strategy, Analysis and Execution: (50% time allocation)

* Work cross-functionally (sales, customer marketing, innovation, consumer insights, etc.) to ensure implementation of approved brand plan.
* Perform on-going business and competitive analyses and provide findings and recommendations for corrective action where appropriate to broader brand marketing team, inclusive of the CMO and Lagunitas Commercial Management Team
* Support the ongoing analysis of category, competitive and consumer trends
* Support Senior Brand manager in the management of business relationships with agencies and vendors
* Ability to analyze price and product positioning vs category
* Interaction with sales operations, sales force, and on occasion, key distributor personnel in support of sales efforts and execution of customer marketing programs.
* Assist in the development, testing and go-to-market plan for all new products.
* Prepare presentations for executive updates, internal & external sales updates, and innovation updates, etc. as required.
* Spearhead TapRoom marketing strategy and assist in consistent branded consumer experience across all 3 footprints
* Work closely with other brand & digital marketing managers to ensure consistent brand messaging internally across Lagunitas.
* Monitor, evaluate, and report on results & impacts of marketing initiatives on brand performance
* Manage brand projects, brand budgeting, and budget reconciliation. Prepare and present update presentations to both internal and external audiences.
* Recommend budget adjustments across portfolio or programming based on brand/market performance or opportunities
* Participate in market visits as required.

Cross-Functional Team Management: (30% time allocation)

* Cross-functional team Management with key internal groups including legal, creative, customer marketing, brewers, taproom, events, public relations, corporate communication, finance, accounting, innovation, and production as required.
* Closely manages projects through all stages, ensuring that work is delivered on time and regularly reports the status of projects to the broader Brand team
* Assists in the briefing and strategic leadership of the in-house creative team, agency partners and freelancers on key creative projects
* Coordinate and manage internal creative teams and/or agencies to work within the agreed scope of work
* Fosters a culture that inspires creativity, collaboration, and innovation.
* Identify and develop best practices to improve program execution
* Exhibits excellent interpersonal skills, charisma, and self-confidence to make an impact on teams, coaching and motivating others, tackling new problems, and advocating strongly for integrity and sensitivity.

Strategic Brand Plan Development and Execution: (10% time allocation)

* Partners closely with the Senior Brand Manager to assist in the development of brand strategy, brand vision, consumer communications, and creative asset development.
* Support Senior Brand Manager & Head of Brand Marketing, in partnership with consumer insights, to develop annual brand plan based on market data and relevant consumer insights.
* Partners with consumer insights team to support the continued development of the Lagunitas' brand positioning and strategic brand expansion via new product initiatives.
* Supports the development of break through creative ideas that align to the brand mission, connect authentically with current and future consumers, and ensures consistency of brand voice and visual identity across all channels.
* Manages project budgets through effective communication, analysis, and forecasting.
* Experience in consumer research and analytics.

Brand Ambassador: (10% time allocation)

* Serve as an effective and eloquent ambassador for Lagunitas, professionally representing the brand at key internal and external events (i.e. distributor visits, trade events, sales meetings, sponsored Brand events, TapRoom events, association meetings, etc.).
* Visit key markets in support of market blitzes, new product launches, surveys, etc. and report brand and competitive findings as well as any market driven recommendations to management team

What we're lookin' for

* Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Marketing, Business, Management, etc.)
* Experience in CPG with at least 2 to 4 years of brand management experience. Ideal candidate will have experience with craft beer and/or counter-culture lifestyle brand experience.
* Experience with integrated marketing campaigns (i.e., traditional media, digital/social, experiential, on-trade, retail, etc)
* Knowledge and experience with of a wide range of marketing functions: traditional/advertising, digital/social, influencer, experiential, shopper/retail.
* Ability to think strategically, creatively, and with an executional mindset in developing marketing strategies, tactics and initiatives.
* Working understanding of developments in technology and the social media space with the ability to appropriately apply this knowledge to our overall communications strategy
* Experience working with large, cross-functional teams (in-house or agency)
* Strong writing, presentation, and verbal communication skills

About the role

Efficiently and safely operates all packaging line machinery while maintaining high level of quality assurance for the craft beer cases produced. Must be willing and able to troubleshoot machinery as needed. Consistently portrays the Lagunitas brand through hard work and a strong sense of urgency in a team-oriented environment.

What you'll do

* Adhere to all safety standards set by Lagunitas and OSHA.
* Actively participate in safety meetings, audits, and good catch program.
* Manufactures and assembles packaging components which includes assembly of mother cartons and beer shells, cans, bottles and kegs of beer.
* Participates in TPM efforts including 5S, DCS, Morning on the shop floor, problem solving Kaizens, and Autonomous
* Transports materials to and from designated areas using hand lifts, forklifts, and other equipment.
* Moves goods packed on pallets or crates around the facility.
* Operates multiple parts of the packaging line(s).
* Runs all aspects of kegging, bottling and canning lines.
* Makes equipment and product changeovers, using tools as needed.
* Clean and fill of various types of kegs.
* Monitors and reacts to QA specifications: quality control of various packaging processes; watch and monitor fill levels in various packaging types; monitor aesthetics of outer packaging and labels; monitor carbonation levels in finished beer.
* Responsible for the sanitation of their assigned area including Clean In Place CIP tasks both manual and automated
* Keeps track of stock levels of packaging materials.
* Must observe and practice all Safety Procedures, including wearing the proper PPE at all times on the Packaging Lines & Production Floor.
