Our teams average 5,400 HUB miles per week and are home every weekend and holidays. This is not typical team driving. We leave on Mondays and are home every weekend for the HOS reset. Our trucks do not wait long to unload and we do not wait for back hauls. When you drive team for us the miles keep rolling. No hours of service layovers. Our drivers average 130,000 miles per year. · We are looking for a set team (husband/wife, father/son, etc.). We are also looking for a driver to be part of our team pool.
Compensation
Starting $.88 per mile (teams evenly split miles and miles paid off hub). Our teams average 8 stops/drops per week which is $160 per driver per week

Special Projects with Current Classes
Support ship classes (LCS, MMSC and FFG) in any related studies

Responsible for developing and managing a group of engineers and designers to support the Combat Systems efforts of the Naval Design group
Planning and scheduling work associated with these efforts
Build relationships and coordinate with research partners, including universities and labs

Job Purpose

What you will do
Develop and maintain a consistent schedule of performing preventative maintenance of all Herc owned fleet at your branch

Diagnose internal combustion engines, DC electrical systems, propane systems, hydraulics, and fuel systems
Perform major repairs to maintain fleet equipment using diagnostic tools, hand tools, and measuring instruments independently

Assist shop lead with customer damage estimates and repairs

Requirements
H.S. Diploma or equivalent

Ownership of sufficient selection of hand and air/electric tools to complete most repairs and services

Physical Demands and Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit and occasionally stand or walk; use hands to handle materials or equipment; reach with hands and arms; stoop and kneel; and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee's workspace is in a clean and comfortable climate-controlled setting with little to no exposure to the moving equipment, elements, extreme conditions, or risk of injury. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet. When entering the shipyard, areas of the work environment may not be climate-controlled and there is exposure to moving equipment, etc.
