This role would report to a Senior Safety Manager or Regional Safety Director and potentially manage Safety Coordinators and Field Safety Specialists. This subject matter expert will have significant autonomy contributing technical support to make safety-related decisions. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Lead daily audits of all work areas. Conduct safety training, testing, and record-keeping for all employees, sub-contractors, and where Rosendin is prime, all other persons arriving on site (New Hire Orientation, Equipment Training, Haz Com, Fall Protection, Excavation, Confined Space, Lockout/Tag out, Crane and Rigging, etc.). Act as an advisor to the company management team and customer agencies to ensure safety requirements are identified, communicated to employees, and fulfilled. Manage the assigned project's safety program budget, planning, acquiring, controlling, and distributing all safety equipment, supplies, and training aids. Develop and review the site safety plan for the project. Contribute to project start-up meetings. Review of the three-week look ahead for the project. Ensure a crisis management plan is implemented for projects and facilities. Ensure clinics/medical facilities are set up, and the project team knows their location. Ensure procedures are followed for LOTO and first-time energization at the project site. Review Step by Step and MOPS (Method of Procedures). Develop and participate in RCAs (root cause analysis) to prevent reoccurring events at projects. Identify needs and compose training documents, pre-task plans, permits, training certifications, sign-in sheets, and toolbox meetings to the appropriate database or filing system. Responsible for injury case management; coordination with insurance representatives and vendors as assigned by senior safety leadership. The electrical Quality Control Manager is responsible for working closely with the Project Manager and Superintendent to support the department with QAQC and final commissioning implementation and execution. YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY: The Billing Specialist is responsible for invoicing assigned accounts, assuring they are submitted timely, accurately, completely, and in accordance with established billing processes or procedures. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Researches and resolves invoices that are incomplete and unable to be billed. Performs timely collection of payment for assigned accounts. Prepare time & material billings for submission to customers. Ensure that billing records are accurate and up to date. Assist in achieving and maintaining corporate goals with respect to billing metrics. Review data, report and identify issues. Take necessary steps to communicate or resolve the issues with customers and operations teams. Develop and maintain rapport with billing specialist counterparts at General Contractor or customer to ensure timely payment. Collect lien releases as required and maintain an accurate and up-to-date log of jobs requiring releases. Work with A/R Specialist and credit to facilitate collections. Review billing status of ongoing projects to ensure month-end cutoff dates are met. Generate and review various reports and reconciliation for the billing department. Perform general clerical duties including copying, faxing, mailing, and filing. Interface with project team to investigate and resolve issues to ensure jobs are billed accurately and within the appropriate time frames. DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES & SCOPE: Develop and build strong teams for each project while delivering quality output, meeting customer expectations, managing to scope, delivering on time, and delivering within budget. Drive division profitability through effective project execution. Develop and lead project management technical and schedule goals, procurement and contractual requirements, personnel assignments and capacity planning. Evaluate and continually improve the systems and processes used by the department to effectively meet customer requirements and profitability goals. Manage, mentor, and develop a group of approximately 3 direct and 10 total reports. Review the overall contractual requirements for all projects and specific process design methodology for individual projects as required. Ensure schedule requirements are met for all projects. Readily adjust priorities and milestones based upon changing customer needs, resource availability, and job requirements. Interact with the customer to validate expectations are understood and met before, during and after project completion. Provide oversight for third-party construction firms. Manage project review process with particular emphasis on financial forecasting. Ensure high-quality engineering, studies, and Helix project delivery. Proactively and systematically communicate challenges, risks and successes. Oversee invoice per project terms and negotiate appropriate change orders. QUALIFICATIONS: At least 5 years of project management experience in electrical commercial/mixed use construction. Understand engineering in electric power. Field experience coordinating with construction management. Extensive knowledge of project scheduling, bids, take-offs, change orders, and contracts. Demonstrated ability to develop relationships and assist in winning projects Demonstrated ability to run a profitable portfolio. Exceptional initiative, execution and communication skills, both oral and written. Exceptional analytical, motivational, and leadership skills. Electrical engineering or Construction Management degrees are strongly preferred. Journeyman or Master Electrician's license a plus.
