Our Project Engineer assists their Project Manager on projects and is the liaison between the field and the office. Interact with the customer to validate expectations are understood and met before, during, and after project completion. Provide close support and oversight for third-party construction firms and subcontractors. Manage project review process with particular emphasis on financial forecasting. Ensure high-quality engineering, studies, and Helix project delivery. Proactively and systematically communicate challenges, risks, and successes. Oversee monthly invoicing process per project terms and negotiate appropriate change orders. Coordination with Site Superintendent(s) to understand and assess installation methods, labor needs, and manpower forecasts. Close support and oversight on adherence to the Quality Control process. Close support to ensure that all downstream team members are meeting deadlines on assigned task QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum 3 years of project engineer experience in heavy commercial/private electrical construction. Understand engineering in electric power. Field experience coordinating with construction management. Extensive knowledge of project scheduling, bids, take-offs, change orders and contracts. Demonstrated ability to develop relationships and assist in winning projects. Demonstrated ability to closely support the running of a profitable portfolio. Exceptional initiative, execution, and communication skills, both oral and written. Exceptional analytical, motivational, and leadership skills. Electrical Engineering or Construction Management degrees are strongly preferred. Journeyman or Master Electrician's license a plus.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Develop and manage the commissioning plan required for the project based on project needs • Review Commissioning Schedule to align with project goals and timelines • Review Testing and Validation process and documentation from Vendor and third parties • Coordinate and oversee the work of the commissioning team members • Communicate and collaborate with Project Managers, commissioning and operational teams to ensure project objectives and requirements are met • Supervise and train commissioning team on documentation and analytical procedures required for the project • Maintain the commissioning records, test scripts and reports available for review and provide updates to project management regarding progress and issues • Discuss with commissioning team means and methods to resolve issues minimizing cost and delays • Ensure and enforce the company EHS policies and procedures during the commissioning process • Serve as liaison between the company and the GC/Owner commissioning team in terms of coordination of work and inspections COMPETENCIES: Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of electrical systems, commissioning processes, and industry standards Reviews and validates testing procedures, vendor documentation, and commissioning records to ensure compliance with project specifications and codes Develops and manages comprehensive commissioning plans aligned with project requirements and schedules Monitors progress, identifies risks, and implements solutions to minimize cost, delay, or quality issues · Anticipates and addresses commissioning challenges through proactive solutions · Analyzes technical data and makes informed decisions to resolve issues efficiently · Works closely with project managers, construction teams, and owners to align Commissioning activities with project objectives REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: · Minimum of 5 years in the electrical construction field · Minimum of 1-3 years of management experience in construction environment performing QC/QA/COMMISSIONING role · Bachelor's degree in administration or engineering field preferred · Knowledge in Electrical and QC/QA/COMMISSIONING standards and testing methodologies · Experience with electrical testing procedures and troubleshooting · Experience with relevant software, such as MS Office, Autodesk Construction Cloud Build, Egnyte, CXAlloy, Bluebeam, etc. · Strong leadership and team management abilities · Excellent data collection and analytical skills · Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills · Strong communication and interpersonal skills, teamwork attitude · Clean OMV, drug test results, and background check COMPENSATION The starting annual base pay for this role is between USD $130,000.00 to $160,000.00. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as: location, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY: The Safety Manager administers project safety programs to maintain a safe and healthy work environment. They may be responsible for one project or multiple small projects. This role would report to a Senior Safety Manager or Regional Safety Director and potentially manage Safety Coordinators and Field Safety Specialists. This subject matter expert will have significant autonomy contributing technical support to make safety-related decisions. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Lead daily audits of all work areas. Provide safety expertise in response to identified deficiencies and requests for safety assistance. Communication with the project team and field leadership is essential. Prepare professional reports, conduct safety briefings, act as company spokesperson for site safety issues, research, and answer site safety questions and concerns. Resolve site safety issues and provide emergency response as needed that arises from sub-contractors, customers, employees, and company managers. Identify gaps and implement safety program elements, as needed, to comply with customer and regulatory requirements. Direct comprehensive, in-depth investigations of all injury and loss incidents, identify all causal factors, develop and implement measures to prevent recurrences, and follow up to ensure long-term resolution. Conduct safety training, testing, and record-keeping for all employees, sub-contractors, and where Rosendin is prime, all other persons arriving on site (New Hire Orientation, Equipment Training, Haz Com, Fall Protection, Excavation, Confined Space, Lockout/Tag out, Crane and Rigging, etc.). Act as an advisor to the company management team and customer agencies to ensure safety requirements are identified, communicated to employees, and fulfilled. Manage the assigned project's safety program budget, planning, acquiring, controlling, and distributing all safety equipment, supplies, and training aids. Develop and review the site safety plan for the project. Contribute to project start-up meetings. Review of the three-week look ahead for the project. Ensure a crisis management plan is implemented for projects and facilities. Ensure clinics/medical facilities are set up, and the project team knows their location. Ensure procedures are followed for LOTO and first-time energization at the project site. Review Step by Step and MOPS (Method of Procedures). Develop and participate in RCAs (root cause analysis) to prevent reoccurring events at projects. Identify needs and compose training documents, pre-task plans, permits, training certifications, sign-in sheets, and toolbox meetings to the appropriate database or filing system. Responsible for injury case management; coordination with insurance representatives and vendors as assigned by senior safety leadership.
