Monthly inspections of the extraction well vaults and any maintenance activities identified during the inspection. Inspection and maintenance of the valves (testing opened and closed) and pressure relief valves on a monthly basis. Assist in monitoring the pumping activities of each well system pump and, monthly, inspect the well system pumps by turning them on and off if they do not already cycle on at least a monthly basis. Control vegetative growth on the outboard embankment with an annual herbicide application. Portions of the site will be inspected for the presence of debris. General trash will be removed as access and safe conditions allow. Periodic visual inspection of the site surface soil and multimedia caps, to detect any problems with the cap system. The cap surface will be inspected annually and after storms to detect water ponding that may indicate settlement. Calibrate 4-gas confined space entry meters. Fault find/repair/replace ultrasonic water level sensors Fault find remove/repair/replace electric piston pumps Safely load leachate tanker trucks Position Summary Performs installation, maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment used for a variety of environmental projects. Essential Functions Installs, repairs and maintains mechanical equipment, including heavy equipment and vehicles, as needed, on project sites. Ensures that the installation and repair of equipment complies with agency policy and local codes and regulations. Replaces units or parts, such as gears, bearings, and filters.     We are seeking skilled and safety-driven Ironworkers to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will assist in the installation, fabrication, and placement of structural and reinforcing steel on a variety of projects. Responsibilities: * Erect, place, and connect structural steel components according to blueprints and drawings. * Cut, bend, and weld steel pieces as required for installation. * Install reinforcing steel (rebar) in concrete forms. * Bolt or weld metal structures and ensure proper alignment and fit. * Operate hoisting equipment and work at elevated heights safely. * Inspect work and materials for compliance with specifications and safety standards. * Alignment to Clark Standards of Excellence: Self-Motivated, Results Oriented, Adaptable, Team Player, Accountable, Ethical, Innovative, Resilient, Builds Relationships Qualifications: * Proven experience as an Ironworker in commercial or industrial construction. * Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications. * Strong understanding of safety procedures and fall protection. * Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work at heights. * OSHA certification or related safety training preferred. The employee must frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move objects weighing over 50 pounds with assistance or team lifting techniques. This position requires frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing, and reaching (above and below shoulder level). The employee must possess sufficient physical dexterity and balance to work safely at various heights and in confined spaces. Visual acuity (including close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus) is essential for tasks such as reading instructions, operating equipment, and ensuring safety. Adequate hearing (with or without assistive devices) is required to understand instructions and warnings in a noisy environment. Work Environment The work environment characteristics described below are representative of those an employee encounter while performing the essential functions of this role at a Clark Construction site. The employee will regularly work outdoors and may be exposed to varying and potentially extreme weather conditions, including heat, cold, wind, rain, and snow. The work environment frequently involves exposure to moving mechanical equipment, high noise levels, dust, fumes, airborne particles, vibrations, and potential electrical hazards. Work regularly occurs at heights and in confined spaces. The employee must be able to work safely around heavy equipment and construction traffic. The noise level in the work environment is typically loud, requiring the consistent use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including hearing protection, and adherence to all Clark Construction's comprehensive safety policies, procedures, and all applicable federal, state, and local laws. Due to the nature of the projects, deadlines, and client's requirements, the role frequently requires working more than 40 hours per week.
