Build and dismantle scaffolds and other wooden structures
Build and dismantle safety handrails and other equipment
Sort, inspect and stack lumber and metal scaffold components
Constructs and dismantles scaffolding of multiple types. Installs and removes sky climbers, safety handrails, lifelines, and water evacuation equipment. Qualification Standards
Scaffold building experience and a certificate in high reach equipment and sky climbers are required. Must have Scaffold Competent Personal Training. Must have the ability to read and write in English. Must have the ability to read a tape measure and operate power tools safely. Must have the ability to determine the amount and type of materials needed for constructing scaffolds. Must have the ability to pass mechanical reasoning. Must be clean shaven for a respirator fit (modest moustache is fine). Must have the ability to work at heights above thirty feet, in confined spaces, and be able to work any shift. Must be able to understand written and verbal instructions, hear warning signals, and read and comprehend safety instructions, regulations, and warnings.
Essential Job Tasks
Construct and dismantle scaffolds and other wooden structures, safety handrails, and other equipment.
Clean tanks, operate Wastewater Treatment Facility, operate pump truck and perform general shipyard clean-up.
Operate high reaching equipment, painting and chipping equipment, and tools such as saws, drills and chainsaws.
Inspect and sort scaffolding materials.
Assist trades in sea trials and launches.
Install fire equipment and load out material in support of ship delivery.
Occasionally move furniture and other equipment.
Work with both the Paint and the Blast Department in performing cross-trade responsibilities.

Job Description
Position Purpose:
Performs a variety of semi-skilled, skilled, technical, and administrative work in the planning, scheduling, maintenance of vehicles and equipment within Fleet Services.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
Diagnoses and locates mechanical problems on fleet vehicles and equipment.
Repairs brakes, engines, electrical, fuel, hydraulic, transmission, ignition, air, exhaust, axle assemblies and related systems using a variety of hand, electric, air-driven tools, and diagnostic instruments.
Performs cutting and welding in performance of body repair, touch up and related work.
Performs routine and preventative maintenance, lubrication and minor adjustments on vehicles and related equipment. Promptly reports any operational problems with machines or equipment to Lead or Supervisor.
Inspects vehicles and equipment for compliance with applicable policies, rules and regulations for road-worthiness and safety. Takes corrective action per procedure in assigned area. Investigates vehicle / equipment damage, completes forms, participates and completes remedial actions to prevent further occurrences within assigned deadlines.
Performs all duties in compliance with Veolia Water safety policies and guidelines and makes others aware of potential hazards in the work area. Practices good housekeeping. Participates in cleaning of work areas machinery, tools and equipment in Fleet Services areas.
Frequent contact with internal personnel in order to understand maintenance needs.
Contact with vehicle and equipment suppliers to obtain repair and maintenance instructions.
May assist with maintaining parts, spares and maintenance inventory.
Participates in coverage for after hour's emergency calls for Fleet Services as assigned by Lead Mechanic.
Participates in snow and ice control program with the Public Works Department as needed on an emergency basis.

Experience in and exposure to repair and maintenance of the following: pickup trucks, one, two, five and ten-ton dump truck, snowplow, salt spreader and trailer equipped trucks preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
Must demonstrate ability to accurately record data from meters, gauges, scales, panels, computer consoles and other equipment.
Must have ability to safely operate motorized vehicles and construction-type equipment, drill press, bench press, grinder, band saw, electric charging systems testers, digital and computerized diagnostic instruments, hydraulic jacks and lifts, air tools, wrenches, drivers, wheel and tire replacement systems, air compressor, lubricants, greases, coolants and related fluid, cleaning equipment, portable radios, telephones, computers, copiers, printers and other equipment and devices related to Fleet Services activities.
Good verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
Must have ability to operate Computer Maintenance Management System (software).
Must demonstrate ability to work in a team environment and willingness to assume additional or new responsibilities readily.
Must demonstrate proficiency in the care and use of all site specific, facility required PPE (Personal Protection Equipment), including respirators, gas detectors, confined space equipment, etc.)

Specialized training in vehicle and equipment maintenance with knowledge and experience in the areas of automotive and truck mechanics, gas and diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, valves, generators and welding and body repair.
Must possess a valid Class “A” Commercial Driver's License (CDL), with tanker endorsement and a safe driving record.
Employee Orientation, Departmental Operating Procedures, OSHA and Quality Training. Veolia equipment training.
Contributes and participates in required and recommended safety programs and training sessions.
Obtain and continue ASE certification in Master Automotive Technician or Master Medium / Heavy Duty Truck Technician within three years from date of hire.
HAZWOPER (Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response) Level I and II First Responder Certification. Work toward higher level water / wastewater treatment certification.
Forklift Certification if required by site.

Essential Job Duties

Works with speed and efficiency. Reads tickets and/or listens for direction to determine proper amount of food to prepare. Meets or exceeds Rubio's service time standards.
Keeps the restaurant clean and maintains restaurant facilities as needed and/or directed by Management. Maintains personal hygiene as prescribed by law and Rubio's Dress Code standards.
Follows all Company safety and security policies and procedures. Maintains proper temperature of food product. Complies with health code regulations, including but not limited to hairnet and glove usage.
Communicates effectively with the Team in order to ensure good operations in the back-of-house (BOH.)
Uses and completes training packets with all new Back-of-House Team Members. Leads new product roll-out training with all Back-of-House Team Members.

Education: High school degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

Working and Environmental Conditions

Job Overview:
Continental Tide is seeking an experienced and skilled Pipefitter. The successful candidate will join our Fleet Services Group performing various ship repair, modernization and Alteration Installation Team (AIT) projects.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Apply craft for layout, fit up. Install and maintain piping systems on board ships, and submarines such as steam, heat, power, hydraulics, compressed air, sea water, freshwater and chilled water systems.
Braze various pipe items to support on-site installations, fits and assembles parts into complete assembly and verify dimensions and alignment of assembly.
Must possess knowledge and experience in planning layout of piping systems following blue prints allowing for conformance to specifications, holes, and obstructions.
Ability to measure cut and bore holes in bulkheads and decks for installation of piping.
Demonstrate strong procedural knowledge of pipe bending and shaping, and knowledgeable in operating shop machines to cut and thread pipe and pipe fittings.
Ability to test installed systems utilizing hydrostatic or other comparable pressure testing means for system integrity after repairs or installation.
Thorough knowledge of types of piping materials to be utilized for installations based on drawing or blue prints
Performs other duties as assigned.
Experience and Skills
Must possess a high school, trade or vocational school degree
5-10 years of direct experience in ship repair and installation of Hull, Mechanical & Electrical (HM&E) systems and equipment.
Ability to read and interpret ship installation drawings, installation specifications and NAVSEA Standard Items is preferred.
Must have or have the ability to obtain a SECRET clearance
Must have the ability to obtain base access and security credentials
Ability to lift, carry and transport heavy equipment and boxes. The exact weight requirements will be determined by the specific job, but no less than 30 lbs.
