THIS POSITION PROVIDES OPPORTUNITIES FOR ENTRY LEVEL WORKERS TO LEARN ON THE JOB. **Experience Level** Entry level, Intermediate, Skilled **Primary Responsibilities and Duties** + Read and interpret engineering/design, architectural, and structural blueprints and plan pipe system layout, installation, or repair, according to specifications. + Select pipe sizes, types, or related materials, such as supports and hangers, for layout and installation. + Perform cutting, fitting, and pipe connection using threaded, soldered, brazed, or grooved joints and utilizing a variety of hand tools. + Inspect, examine, or test installed systems or pipe lines, using pressure gauge, observation, or other methods. + Install hydraulic components of machines and equipment, such as pumps + Complete required paperwork/reports on each job including daily time, progress, duration, record of parts, material, labor, subs, returns, and other cost data per assignment **Qualifications** + May require a high school diploma or its equivalent. No experience required for entry-level.
