This is physically demanding work due to the weight of beverage products and the volume of product that goes out for delivery each day, and requires the ability to lift up to 70 pounds repetitiously and manipulate (push/pull) heavier weights, such as kegs of beer weighing approximately 162lbs.
Delivery Helpers are required to obtain a CDL learner permit during the first 90 days of employment and will be considered for a pay increase at that time. Applicants who already have a CDL learner permit at the time of application will receive priority consideration and a higher rate of pay.
This is a full-time regular position, Monday through Friday, starting at 5 a.m. and ending when all deliveries are completed. You get paid while you train!
Familiarity with the local market and surrounding areas is a plus. The ideal candidate will be a true "people person" with a strong commitment to excellent customer service who will enjoy being out in the trade with the customers and taking care of their product delivery needs.
