The CP Helper I assists experienced crew members in safely executing tasks that protect critical energy assets from corrosion. Key Responsibilities Assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of cathodic protection systems for pipelines and facilities. Help perform CP surveys, including Close Interval Surveys (CIS), DCVG, and current testing under supervision. Support field setup and equipment preparation, including testing meters, cables, and data recorders. Collect and record field data accurately on paper forms, tablets, or digital devices. Assist with excavation, wiring, trenching, and backfilling related to CP system installation. Load and unload materials and maintain organized work areas and vehicles. Follow all company safety policies, wear appropriate PPE, and participate in daily safety briefings. Travel frequently to job sites and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
