For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $29.01 to $29.01 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company's Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company's bonus multiple, based on the Company's performance in the applicable quarter. Primary Responsibilities: Maintain the cleanliness of the premises, including but not limited to: restrooms, common areas, kitchen, private offices (upon request), store, classrooms, and the outside facility. Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming Proper usage of chemical and the wearing of proper PPEs when required. Knowledge of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)-how to use them and where they are stored Adheres to safety policies Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment. Gather and empty trash. Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees. Performs all other related duties as assigned. Responsibilities: - Follow all applicable safety/housekeeping guidelines. - Responsible for departmental safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency. - Read and follow all Standard Operating Procedures and work orders. - Reviews daily production utilizing computer manufacturing software and determines associate work assignments. - Maintain accurate serial number log as required. - Utilize computer manufacturing software to report daily production, retrieve Bill of Material (BOM) and check inventory levels for production. - Responsible for coordinating with engineering and quality on pilot runs, BOM audits, pilot completion paperwork and training records. - Communicate with Engineering on discrepancies or questions. - Participates in routine departmental meetings as needed. - Take monthly cycle counts and inventory as needed. - All other duties as assigned by Supervisor. Entry Level Maintenance Repairer Helper Special Metals Corporation is seeking candidates for our Maintenance Repairer and Electronic Repairer apprentice programs at our Dunkirk, NY facility. Candidates must pass an entry level basic skills exam to be eligible. Electronic program candidates must have prior electrical experience and/or training. All candidates must be available to work any shift at a 24 hour facility. A high school diploma is required. Program duration is 2 years. Ideal candidates have a desire to work in heavy industry and repair hydraulic systems, overhead cranes, gas furnaces and mechanical drive systems. Helpers will receive hands on training, mentorship, and classroom instruction to advance to Maintenance Repairer or Electronic Repairer upon completion of the program.
