Job Responsibilities
Install, repair, and maintain all types of fixed fire extinguishing systems (e.g. fire sprinkler, fire suppression).
Acquire and maintain all required local licensure (e.g. City of Colorado Springs, State of CO).
Install and service a variety of other fire protection equipment such as standpipes, fire pumps, foam systems, clean agent systems, and underground fire supply piping.
Conduct work in a safe manner utilizing all required PPE, safe work practices, etc.
Travel within the states of Colorado, Wyoming, and New Mexico to work job sites as necessary. Work may include off hours/shift/weekend work as required.
Qualifications
Must be willing to become/be a member of the UA Local Union 669.
A minimum of 7 years of experience is required.
Job Foreman experience a plus.
At least 18 years old.
High school diploma OR GED required.
Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Carry/move equipment and tools weighing up to 50 pounds. Perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment.
Ability to read and understand construction blueprints, diagrams, and specifications used in installation activities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment, including working outdoors, hot/cold weather, etc.

* Pull and place chains and ropes around steel bundles for racking

* Perform paddling functions to enhance the quality level of the various galvanized products using air guns to blow off zinc needles
