THE ROLE OF A LABORER Under close supervision, keeps facility litter free and performs various loadchecker duties, and assists with other projects as needed. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, AND ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
* Picks up blown litter on site and adjoining roads.
* Brings full litter garbage bags to pick-up truck or tipping table.
* Picks up metal or other recyclable materials from tipping table.
* Relieves Spotter during lunch break and other times as needed.
* Repairs drainage flumes.
* Moves and/or constructs wind fences.
* Keeps property clean and litter free.
* Assists with covering garbage with tarps.
* If working at compost site, removes contaminants from organics.
Load Inspector/Checker (small percentage of time may be spent on the following duties):
* Inspects and records daily incoming loads.
* Keeps hazardous and otherwise prohibited waste out of facility. Generates documentation of efforts made to keep hazardous and otherwise prohibited waste out of facility.
* Deals with customers in a professional manner. Responds to customers politely, courteously or firmly, as the situation dictates.
* Answers customer questions.
* Takes the appropriate action in accordance with amount and types of materials found, and customer attitude. Asks appropriate personnel for assistance when needed.
* Works in a respectful manner with fellow employees.
* Keeps accurate daily records.

About this Role
FiberTel is looking for CDL Laborers for our Sacramento, CA location. This is a travel position focused on Sacramento, Vallejo, and Santa Rosa.
In this role you will support all phases of utility construction for various types of telecom projects. Duties will include general labor duties related to telecommunications construction as directed by the Foreman/Supervisor.
Services may include placing poles, anchors and guys, aerial strand and cable, direct buried pipe, trenching cable, conventional and directional boring, placing underground conduit systems, performing inside wiring, cabling, and testing and maintenance services.
Pay: $22-27/hr, DOE
What You'll Do
Responsibilities:
All phases of telecommunication construction include but are not limited to: Loading, driving, delivery, digging, removal and placement of various types, sizes and weight of construction materials and equipment.
Hand dig using shovel, mechanical tools.
Install and maintenance of underground telecommunications cabling.
Operate or work around heavy equipment and machinery.
Working in congested or remote areas.
Maintain visual and audible contact with other crewman and all moving or stationary persons/vehicles/objects to ensure safe coordination of movement.
Perform general construction work under direction of Foreman/Supervisor.
Maintain safe working habits/conditions according to all regulations, procedures, and policies.
Learn all aspects of crew and assist the operator and foreman as assigned.
Setup, preparation, and cleanup of construction sites.
Develop an understanding of buried utilities
Lift heavy equipment and supplies
What You'll Bring
Qualifications:
Class A CDL
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Possess a valid driver's license or be eligible and willing to obtain the required license for the position.
A good driving record is required.
Basic knowledge of and ability to operate various types of utility trucks and equipment in a safe manner.

Working Conditions:
This is a full-time hourly position, expected to work at least 40 hours per week. This position operates in an outdoor environment and is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions including; extreme cold, rain, sleet, snow, humidity, high temperatures, and high wind. The outside work environment will vary throughout the day including changes in terrain, traffic, urban settings, and/or rural settings. This position may occasionally be exposed to natural gas and to the risk of electrical shock. Exposure to moderate to loud noise levels.
Physical Requirements:
The employee will need to have the ability to stand for long periods of time (up to 12 hours at a time), tolerate work in extreme weather conditions, speak and hear worksite safety instructions, withstand prolonged and repeated: lifting, standing, climbing, kneeling, reaching and feeling, crouching, and crawling. The employee will need to be able to regularly lift 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Residential Plumbing Technician

Are you a skilled plumber who takes pride in doing quality work and enjoys helping people? We're looking for a friendly, motivated Plumbing Technician to join our growing team! The Plumber will troubleshoot, replace and/or repair all residential plumbing systems in our customers' homes. You will be joining a team that works hard, has fun, and supports each other while bringing the value of our service to our customers. No weekends or on-call required!
Responsibilities and Duties
Passion for communicating with customers and fixing plumbing issues.
Keep your company van stocked, and clean both inside and out.
Communicate and consult with homeowner to give them the best options on repair or replacement.
Coordinates with supervisor and other trades for the purpose of completing projects efficiently.
Maintain communication with dispatch.
Diagnoses problems and/or failures in plumbing systems (e.g. locate and repair water leaks, broken or clogged pipes, and plugged drains, etc.) for the purpose of identifying equipment and/or systems repair and replacement needs.
Proficient in water heater installation, both tanked and tankless units.
Proficient in use of specialty tools, drain cleaning equipment/hydro jetter.
Maintains tools, company iPad.
Qualifications and Skills
2+ years of residential plumbing service experience
Strong problem-solving and plumbing diagnostic skills
Great communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
Clean driving record
Ideal candidate will have experience with backhoe operation and underground digging
Ideal candidate will have experience with Service Titan Software
