Job Description Date 07/2019 Title Line lead, Packaging Department Packaging Reports to Supervisor, Packaging FLSA (Exempt or Non-Exempt Exempt Role Overview The Packaging Lead is responsible for coordinating line workers' activities to ensure their assigned packaging goals are met in compliance with all quality and safety SOPs and cGMP's. The successful candidate will monitor, manage, and maintain equipment, operators, and processes to ensure compliance to GMP's and safety standards. This is a working Lead role and will be required to support a station on the line. The ideal candidate will also have strong interpersonal, communication, teamwork, time management and organizational skills, will be highly motivated, self-directed, and accountable, and will have the ability to work effectively with all levels of staff across the organization. Areas of Responsibility Coordinates with the supervisor and other Leads on an as needed basis to establish schedules, job assignments and packaging sequences to meet packaging goals. Maintains proper gowning and hygiene to ensure integrity of the product as per cGMP's and company policies. Follows batch records, SOP's, and cGMP's guidelines to ensure product specifications and tolerances are met.
