What You'll Do
As a drill helper, your position will focus on assisting with operating a drill rig and performing test borings. Exposure to additional responsibilities may include but not be limited to:
Ensure safety is always prioritized
Obtain soil and rock samples from test borings using proper collection/handling methods
Install monitoring wells, piezometers and inclinometers
Prepare boring logs and field reports
Perform drill rig and support vehicle maintenance
Frequent service-friendly and effective communication with client/owner and drill operator/supervisor
