Primary Responsibilities:
Carry, lift, hold construction materials on project site as assigned.
Loads/unloads construction materials
Assist in preparing the site for construction activities by clearing obstacles and ensuring safety measures are in place.
Assemble equipment and materials needed to begin and complete work projects.
Transport materials and tools to the job site and provide proper accounting of tools.
Provide general support to skilled tradespeople.
Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area.
Gather materials in the field and return to warehouse.
Disposes of all trash and debris.
Observes all safety policies contained in the safety manual.
All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

A Brief Overview
Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, the General Laborer will support the Facilities & Maintenance team by assisting with the day-to-day upkeep, maintenance, and general construction tasks at AEG facilities and venues while maintaining a safe work environment. The responsibilities include but are not limited to performing minor repairs, polishing and cleaning, recording meters and gauges, moving items, general landscaping and etc.
What you will do
* Perform general facility maintenance as delegated by the Maintenance Manager including repairing equipment and furniture, assembling and moving equipment and furniture, and general landscaping, while reporting any major repairs to management.
* Perform general custodial tasks like plumbing, cleaning and polishing furniture and fixtures, painting, mopping, sweeping, replenishing supplies, and disposing of trash.
* Maintain orderly and clean work area in compliance with Company safety and sanitation requirements.
* Assist with projects safely using hand tools to cut, shape, splice and fit fiberglass materials.
* Check and record information from meters and gauges to verify operation conditions are appropriate.
* Set-up and configure furniture according to floorplans to aid to the functionality of facility events.
