Melt Shop Helper (one opening on 1st shift and one opening on 2nd shift) Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: · Repairs and maintains ladles in use in the melt shop and other duties to assist in the process of melting iron Must be comfortable around liquid iron and large furnaces. · Support the Operation and loading of furnaces with scrap iron utilizing overhead crane to a specified temperature for processing. · Help Monitor and regulate temperature controls and heating time. · Assist in Identifying, measuring and adding alloys to ladle iron pouring preparation. · Collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure production conformity. · Perform other duties as required.
