Key Accountabilities/Essential Functions: * Coordinate the flow of materials to and from the work area, which includes cleaning and staging of 14" cores, obtaining precut cores from core cutter area. * Physically control the movement, loading and mounting of manufactured rolls of paper for processing. * Must be computer literate. * Meet production and quality standards for rewinding. * Responsible for accurate data entry into AS400. * Assist the packer by manual rolling of finished sets of paper onto the transfer table, separating and packaging of finished product. * Read, understand and follow Process Maps, work instructions, slitting instructions, customer item directory, QA dispositions, inventory identification tickets and any other instructions. * Understand and comply with general, departmental and job specific safety rules, as well as the Site Safety Plan. Comply with all Lock Out/Tag Out procedures. Correct or identify any unsafe act or conditions to his/her supervisor. * Responsible for reporting any mechanical defective parts or malfunctions to supervision and submit work orders as needed.
