Job Description: The Yard - General Operator Maintains an efficient, clean and safe workplace without jeopardizing production or the environment. Reports to: Yard Supervisor Direct Report: N/A Shift/Day: Shift Job Purpose: The Yard - General Operator is responsible for specific cleaning and maintenance tasks of the production equipment. Due to the nature of this position, many of the tasks involved can only be completed when the production line is down. He/she ensures that all equipment is properly cleaned and maintained according to standards, so production can be performed with high quality results.
