Every operator is responsible for the quality of their work and is expected to support their departmental team by learning at least two additional operations.
Conducting quality inspections to ensure all products meet quality standards.
Ability to use and understand a ruler and measurements.
Machine Operator roles (Snapping, Seam Seal, Automated Stitching, Trim, Cutting).
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) when operating a variety of production machinery
Cutting fabric into pieces using a Gerber Cutter.
Conducting quality inspections to ensure all products meet quality standards.
Ability to use and understand a ruler and measurements.
Qualifications:
Able to read, write and speak basic English.
Have basic knowledge of computers or tablets.
Sewing Operators must be able to sit or stand for full shift.
Non-Sewing Operators must be able to stand/walk for full shift.
Able to assist in team lifting of approximately 30 pounds.
Strong organization skills and high attention to detail.
Previous experience in Sewing, Manufacturing, Machine Operation, Assembly, Quality Control and Inspection desirable.
Willing to hire and train candidates of at all levels including entry level with no experience.

Responsibilities
Plans, prepares, installs, and maintains piping and plumbing systems composed of various materials; systems may include pipes, pressure and vacuum gauges, pipeline filters, steam traps, and strainer valves.
Consults blueprints, work orders, schematics, or instructions; creates working procedure based on specifications.
Gathers equipment and materials for the job.
Welds, cuts, bends, threads, solders, and fits pipes.
Attaches pipes and piping systems to walls using brackets, bracket systems, or clamps; cuts or bores holes prior to project.
Installs various types of insulation and pipe covering; safely removes and properly discards of old coverings according to hazardous waste procedures and in accordance with EPA and OSHA requirements.
Inspects pipes, testing for pressure and leaks; reports and/or resolves problems.
Coordinates with manager to schedule machinery maintenance, repairs, and installation to minimize disruption to operations.
Complies with applicable safety and building codes, regulations and best practices.
Maintains records, including safety logs and inspection details.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Successful completion of a four-year apprenticeship that included classroom and on-the-job instruction in pipefitting or related field.
Required state licenses
Ability to read schematics and blueprints.
Ability to use a variety of tools, which may include blowtorches, saws, pipe benders, and welding torches.
Prior commercial experience
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Must be able to lift, push, and pull in excess of 50 pounds
