Ownership would provide me financial freedom, being my own boss, keeping any profits that the practice made and, eventually, creating systems so that I could eventually hire people and sit back and operate the business.
And so, I graduated and started my career as an owner dentist. Though there was an issue - student loans. I don't know how much you have, but I had some crazy amount like $550,000. Not only that, but my wife had about $500,000 as well (she's also a dentist).
But that's not the scary part. The scary part is the interest. I was in the IBR program where you pay like the absolute minimum. And that's when it hit me. While I was paying the minimum, my principal balance kept going up. I did this for about 3 years without truly knowing what was going on. So yeah, I was making money and invested into real estate, but decided to just pay off over a million dollars in student loans.
The point I'm trying to make is that being an associate dentist isn't what it used to be. Associates have student loans they have to pay (probably the biggest one), car loans, rent / mortgage, family, life, and the cycle goes on and on.
And that's precisely why I'm trying to let as many associate docs know the value of ownership and opportunity cost.
Though we averaged a little over 5 mil for our practices, the top owner doc produced $8,864,788 for the year of 2024. I guess he was impressed by the system, so he took over another CLD practice… and this is the doc that became an owner doc after 8 months of graduation. And to complete the range, the bottom number is $1,958,239 while we had one full time and one part time doc on site (four days a week). I own this practice, but didn't have to work in it the whole year and still made this much. These are truly achievable results because, well, we did it and you can come to meet us whenever. And yes, it sounds too good to be true because I feel it too as I'm writing this. But you'll just have to see it for yourself. We're a legit company and we're here.

Responsibilities and Expectations:
Work closely with and assist lead HVAC Service Technicians on job sites, helping with installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various HVAC systems.
Maintain organization of the company vehicle and ensure all necessary tools, equipment, and materials are prepared and loaded for each job.
Prepare job sites by setting up drop cloths and necessary safety equipment, and assist in cleanup after the work is complete.
Perform basic tasks as directed by the lead technician, such as retrieving parts, holding materials, fetching tools, and preparing piping or wiring.
Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
Maintain a professional and respectful demeanor when interacting with customers, acting as a positive representation of the company.
Actively observe and seek to learn technical skills, diagnostic processes, and best practices from experienced technicians.
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in an HVAC related field
Must be physically able to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work in varying environments (attics, crawl spaces, etc.).
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality are essential.
Eagerness to learn the HVAC trade and follow detailed instructions.
Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

The compensation for this position is expected to range between $22.00 - $28.00 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate's skills, experience, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed.

Panel Shop Helper Responsibilities :
You will assist the technicians and gain experience with the following:
* Reading and following electrical schematics
* Laying out panel backplates
* Wiring panels in the shop based off a schematic
* Assembling of various electrical components
* Installing and repairing electrical equipment and fixtures
* Installing various types of raceway and cable tray systems
* Troubleshooting motor and control systems
* Performing routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems
* Adhering to all quality and safety codes

Panel Shop Helper Qualifications :
