As a Forge Hot Shop Helper at Sierra Alloys, you'll support day-to-day manufacturing operations by helping the forge crew, preparing materials, moving product, and keeping work areas safe and organized.
You'll be on your feet, working around heat, noise, and heavy materials, and supporting a fast-moving production team. It takes focus, stamina, and a strong commitment to safety.

Operate and monitor assigned equipment in compliance with standard operating procedures and safety requirements.
Perform basic setups, adjustments, and preventive checks to maintain machine performance.
Conduct in-process quality inspections and document results.
Handle raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods safely and efficiently.
Record production data accurately, including quantities, times, and inspection results.
Collaborate with team members, leads, and supervisors to meet production targets.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment; follow 5S and housekeeping standards.
Report equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or quality issues promptly.
Cross-train and provide support in other areas as required.
Regular use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and steel-toe shoes.
