We are looking for someone to join our team who oversees and manages all aspects of mitigation/plumbing-related projects, from initial assessment to completion, ensuring efficient and effective restoration of damaged properties. This role involves assessing damage, developing mitigation plans, managing teams, and maintaining communication with homeowners. They are also responsible for ensuring projects are completed within a timeline while adhering to safety and industry standards.
Duties: Assisting with water damage concerns in residential homes. Responsibilities encompass water extraction, mold eradication, demolition, drying of materials, vacuuming, and scrubbing.
Responsibilities:
Inspect and assess the damage that has been done to the home; find or confirm the root cause of the disaster.
Obtain Work Authorization from the Customer.
Complete Tick Sheet: Identifying specific work that needs to be performed and equipment that is needed.
Gather needed supplies and equipment.
Begin performing work or schedule with the insured to return as needed.
Monitor equipment and take daily logs of the drying process.
Mitigation Duties include, but are not limited to:
Demolish and remove affected contents.
Extraction of water.
Remove mold.
Dry carpet, wall, sheetrock, subfloors.
Remove sewage overflow.
Board up windows.
Install subfloor or framing if needed.
Perform "Flood Cuts" on drywall or remove the entire sheetrock.
Contain exposed areas using plastic; seal off needed areas.
Cleaning Duties include, but are not limited to:
Vacuum and clean mold; wipe with an antimicrobial towel.
Paint surface areas, most often new drywall and doors.
Caulk and fill nail holes (trim and cabinets) to prepare for paint.
Pack out items and clean them at the office (depending on quantity and size).
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of experience.
Must be able to lift, pull, push, and carry up to 75 pounds.
Able to work in tight (crawl) spaces for extended periods of time.
Must have a clean and professional appearance.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Great work ethic.
Detail-oriented.
Organized.
Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
Must be at least 18 years old.
