WHAT IT'S LIKE TO BE OUR EXPERIENCED PLUMBING HELPER
The standard work schedule for this full-time position will primarily involve weekday hours. Flexibility for weekend work may be required, and participation in an on-call rotation for emergency service response will also be a component of this role.
As an Experienced Plumbing Helper, the successful candidate will assist experienced plumbers in a variety of residential and commercial plumbing tasks on a daily basis. This will involve the practical application of their existing skills in the installation and repair of essential plumbing components, including valves, fixtures, and various piping materials such as metal, PVC, and PEX. The helper will develop their ability to interpret blueprints to aid in the planning of pipe system layouts for both new installations and necessary repairs. Furthermore, they will gain hands-on experience in performing building rough-ins in accordance with project specifications. The utilization of specialized equipment, such as mainline machines, snakes, jetters, and camera systems, will become a routine aspect of diagnosing and resolving drain obstructions.
