Are you passionate about aviation and engines? Aerothurst MRO LLC is looking for a Mechanic Helper to support our Engine Shop operations. Work hands-on with aircraft engines in a fast-paced, FAA-regulated environment, where precision, safety, and teamwork are top priorities.
🔧RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
Ensure engine shop tools and equipment are serviceable and properly inspected/calibrated before use.
Complete maintenance entries on router forms, task cards, non-routines, and work orders accurately.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in line with repair station standards.
Perform all tasks to the highest quality standards, following FAR regulations and company policies.
Adhere strictly to safety procedures in the maintenance environment.
Use current, approved technical data (manuals, drawings, service bulletins) for all work.
Handle engine parts and components carefully, preserving and protecting them during repair, installation, and storage.
Short-sign tasks properly (initials, employee number, designated stamp, date) with a supervising certificated technician co-signing.
🧠Qualifications:
All non-certificated personnel performing engine maintenance must:
Be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Be trained and competent in engine maintenance methods, techniques, tools, and equipment.
Be familiar with 14 CFR Part 145, Part 43, and the AeroThrust RS/QCM relevant to their duties.
