Key Responsibilities Inspect motors, pulleys and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, or perform other maintenance actions, following checklists. Clean or lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, or other parts of machinery. Dismantle devices to access and remove defective parts. repair or replace parts and reassemble equipment. Performs other related duties as assigned Essential Skills Some knowledge of methods, materials, tools and equipment used in heating and cooling equipment and machinery Works effectively in a team. Follows verbal instructions and adheres to policies and procedures. Adaptable and flexible in work situations. Prioritizes tasks to ensure completion in a timely manner. PRACTICES WORKPLACE SAFETY in the use of tools, equipment, and supplies used in repair of HVAC equipment. including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Requirements High school diploma or equivalent 1+ years related experience and/or formal vocational/technical training in a variety of building and/or utility trades Valid driver's license compliant with REAL ID Act or are you willing and able to obtain one Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check Regular, dependable attendance OVERTIME- Available evenings & weekend U.S. citizenship to obtain and maintain access to military installations Physical Requirements Must be able to lift up to 50lbs unassisted Use of hands, reaching with hands and arms, talking, and walking Prolonged periods of sitting, bending, squatting, standing, twisting, or stooping Climbing ladders and entering confined spaces Lifting and adjusting heavy objects, contact with sharp, hot and/or very cold supplies and equipment Work both indoors and outdoors in various temperatures (some extreme) and weather conditions *Physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
