Position Overview
H.B. Fuller is seeking a ProductionSupervisor to lead second-shift operations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency in meeting production goals. This role drives continuous improvement and supports a collaborative team environment. The position reports to the Production Manager.

What You'll Do:
The Operations Leader has responsibility and accountability for Pilot Plant assets, EH&S, personnel, unit technical oversight and the achievement of the plant related business goals. As a Production Manager, your responsibilities will include:
• Executing production operations aligned with the master schedule to meet safety, quality, service, and cost targets
• Leading a culture of teamwork, accountability, and operational excellence across all production shifts
• Ensuring cross-functional alignment with Safety, Environmental, Quality, R&D, Engineering, and Planning teams
• Championing CI initiatives such as GEMBA walks, Kaizen events, Lean practices, and waste-reduction projects
• Overseeing employee safety programs, training, incident investigations, and safety observations
• Partnering with Engineering and Maintenance to support capital projects and eliminate process bottlenecks
• Leading the Daily Management System (Tier I-III) and driving clear communication of performance metrics
• Managing KPIs, scorecards, and performance trends; participating in Tier IV business reviews
• Acting as the site's Autonomous Maintenance SME, leading TPM training and implementation
• Providing leadership and oversight for ProductionSupervisors and influencing CI Engineering direction
• Maintaining a strong shop-floor presence (minimum 50% of time)

Qualified candidates will have:
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Food Science, Business, or similar
(Equivalent: 8 years relevant experience)
• 10+ years of manufacturing experience, including 5+ years in a leadership/managerial role
• Demonstrated experience managing high-volume manufacturing operations (10-12+ million lbs annually)
• A proven track record of improving Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Morale metrics
• Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, GEMBA, CI programs, and Daily Management Systems
• Willingness to work onsite in Avon, OH, Monday-Friday with weekend presence as needed
• Strong capability in KPI analysis, performance reporting, and problem-solving

This role is based at the Avon, OH facility. Candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance and be onsite regularly. Travel to other locations may occur periodically for training or meetings.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, at our Archbold, OH facility, local producers of La Choy, Vienna Sausage, Dennison's and Wolf Chili, you will direct plant personnel and provide direction in operations area to produce the best quality product possible, at the least cost standards. You will coordinate the availability of raw materials; ensure the functioning of production machinery is adequate to meet production demands. Develop, trains and schedules necessary personnel to meet all production demands. Partner with HR for personnel issues, including interviews, hiring, evaluations, corrective counseling, and further training. You will be responsible for managing Production on 2nd shift and be responsible for the end-to-end leadership of all business units which includes Kitchen, Vienna and Sauce.
Position Responsibilities
Be responsible for food safety and quality.
Manage production line management to ensure product is produced according to Company specifications and meet production, usage, and labor goals.
Allocate labor to exceed Company standards.
Oversee the cleanliness of the plant production areas.
Assure compliance of OSHA regulations and corporate policies.
Assure work force is trained in job requirements.
Ensure flow of critical information to all levels and shifts of plant management.
Monitor correct ingredient usage at plant standards while maintaining quality goals.
Coordinate production requirements with maintenance and engineering to ensure plant goals are obtained.

Maintain a safe work environment for all employees.
Assure safety awareness and training are provided by supervisors.
Support safety programs.
Report ingredient usage and labor figures for proper costing and recall requirements.

Be responsible for providing direct oversight, administering discipline, and ensuring consistent application of policies and procedures across their respective teams.
Position Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (i.e. Business, Industrial Management, Engineering, Food Science, Management, Operations, and Biology).
5+ Years manufacturing experience required.
Minimum 3 years in a production management or production leadership role in a plant required.
Union experience preferred.
Manufacturing experience, chemical or related USDA/FDA industry.
Demonstrated leadership experience required.
Business, analytical and financial skills required.
Bilingual (Spanish/English) capability a plus.

Compensation:
Pay Range:$81,000-$118,000
The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee's actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees' equity.
