The Payroll Manager is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of payroll processing for both union and non-union employees across multiple states and job sites. Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced, motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee the Accounting operations of Henkels & McCoy, a MasTec company. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting functions, including general ledger management, financial reporting, SOX Compliance as well as project cost tracking and job profitability. * Lead, manage, and oversee the accounting team, including, but not limited to, G/L Accounting, Project Accounting, Fixed Assets and Consolidation.
* Be a key resource for Accounts Payable, Billing, AP and SOX compliance.
* Document and maintain business processes and accounting policies and procedures to strengthen and maintain an effective internal control environment and integrity of the books and records
* Play a key role in helping reduce the time commitment and oversee the financial accounting close process, including revenue, cost of revenue, operating expenses and balance sheet accounts, in an accurate manner
* Oversee reconciliation and review of financial accounts, ensuring timely completion and close out of reconciling items

* Provides support for line crews during all phases of construction activity.
Qualifications
* 2+ years of experience OR equivalent training as a lineman/trainee/apprentice and have the knowledge to detect power space violations and safety issues.
* Must be able to climb pole to cable height using pole climber gaffs.
* Current valid driver's license (preferably a CDL A) with a clean driving record is required.
* Must be able to lift, reach, dig and carry heavy objects; with frequent lifting up to 50 pounds and infrequent lifting of up to 100 pounds.
* This position requires significant time doing manual labor functions, walking on uneven ground, working in tight spaces and in general, being overall physically demanding. Must be able to perform heavy physical work and perform duties in a safe and efficient manner.
* Must be available for overtime weekday and/or weekend and be willing to travel as required.
