    Hennepin County's Health and Human Services is seeking to hire a Staff Development Trainer to provide training for the Children and Family Services (CFS) department. The Staff Development Trainer will facilitate both initial and ongoing professional development for new and existing CFS staff on Hennepin County's policies, procedures, and practices. This will include instructor-led training on a variety of child welfare concepts including intake, investigation, case planning, family engagement, and other topics. The Staff Development Trainer will provide new Child Protection Social Workers with skills and knowledge of quality child protection practices that include but are not limited to investigations and ongoing case management. JOB SUMMARY The Dispatch and Operations Lead is responsible for the overall operation of the Hamline University Public Safety 24-hour Communications Center. This role includes monitoring and managing security communications systems and providing accurate information and assistance to the campus community. In addition to overseeing Public Safety dispatch operations, the Dispatch and Operations Lead will manage the campus parking program and supervise the Anderson Student Center Welcome Desk. The Lead must demonstrate full proficiency in the department's computer-aided dispatch (CAD) system, alarm monitoring systems, CCTV network, and electronic access control systems. This position also serves as a key liaison between the Department of Public Safety and various university departments, including but not limited to Facilities Services, Residential Life, and Conference and Event Management.
