Hennepin County Library (HCL) is seeking a Lead Tutor for Let's Read who is passionate about serving youth and families. The position will assist with program hours at Oxboro Library and Pierre Bottineau Library. Let's Read Lead Tutors manage the delivery of afterschool reading support for K-5 students implementing a provided curriculum. Let's Read Lead Tutors are responsible for providing literacy focused academic and social support to students, overseeing the day-to-day program activities, managing the program space and routines, and supporting volunteer tutors.
HCL Let's Read is a literacy tutoring program that focuses on supporting youth in grades K-5 in improving their reading skills. Students work one-on-one with a volunteer tutor once a week to build their skills, gain confidence and fluency.
Most students who come to Hennepin County Library afterschool academic support programs are recent immigrants and may be likely to encounter cultural or language barriers as they build their academic skills.

In this position, you will:
* Provide staffing coverage in case of absence for the Lead Tutors at Pierre Bottineau Library and Oxboro Library.

In the service center representative role, you will provide couples with their marriage license, process a new driver's first permit, and help residents understand their real estate tax payments. Every day, our service centers process hundreds of transactions and each one is unique to the customer. In the vital records role, you will work with the Vital Records unit and the Vital Records Digitization team to prepare, process, record, inventory and correct a variety of licenses, permits, registrations, certificates, and applications. You will also learn how to create training documentation for new processes.

The Department of Natural Resources is seeking to fill a Permanent Part Time 90% Building and Grounds Worker position at William O'Brien State Park near Marine on St. Croix, MN. The hours of work and days of work will vary and included days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
This position exits to perform custodial and grounds work, routine maintenance, repair, and minor construction on state buildings, structures, and parks and trails land using power tools and equipment in an indoor or outdoor environment. This position may provide basic direction to groups of skilled and unskilled workers engaged primarily in the repair, renovation and general maintenance operations of state buildings, structures, or natural landscapes under the direction of Park Manager. This position may exercise some responsibilities for the proper maintenance of buildings, trails, or restoration of natural landscapes with supervisory approval.
Responsibilities Include:
+ To complete grounds maintenance so that park visitors will have a safe and enjoyable experience, and natural resources are protected and preserved in a pleasing condition.
+ To complete building maintenance and sanitation tasks so that buildings are safe, clean, and attractive, routine damage and wear through use is repaired and park visitors will have a safe and enjoyable experience.
+ To complete maintenance and service and do minor repairs on equipment, tools, and shop facilities so that they are safe and in dependable condition for use at all times.
+ Complete facility maintenance and repairs so that facilities and utilities are in safe, usable, clean, and attractive condition for park visitors.
+ To complete operational tasks so that visitor's needs are served, park functions are accomplished, and park resources managed.
+ To provide enforcement and emergency services, that park has personnel which will act as the first response in activities warranting further medical attention and / or enforcement.
+ To provided information and orientation for the public, so all visitors are made aware of rules, facilities, and activities.
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Knowledge of cleaning methods, techniques, materials, and equipment sufficient to prepare cleaning solutions and compounds, operate cleaning equipment, and perform minor repairs.
+ Knowledge of basic building fixtures (doors, locks, windows) and ground structures (fences, signs, flag poles) sufficient to perform minor maintenance and installation work.
+ Knowledge of hand and power tools sufficient to safely and effectively operate and perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs.
+ Organizational and interpersonal skills sufficient to work as a productive member of a team.

JOB SUMMARY
The Dispatch and Operations Lead is responsible for the overall operation of the Hamline University Public Safety 24-hour Communications Center. This role includes monitoring and managing security communications systems and providing accurate information and assistance to the campus community.
In addition to overseeing Public Safety dispatch operations, the Dispatch and Operations Lead will manage the campus parking program and supervise the Anderson Student Center Welcome Desk. The Lead must demonstrate full proficiency in the department's computer-aided dispatch (CAD) system, alarm monitoring systems, CCTV network, and electronic access control systems.
This position also serves as a key liaison between the Department of Public Safety and various university departments, including but not limited to Facilities Services, Residential Life, and Conference and Event Management.
