Rocket Fuel is looking for site monitors to ensure the smooth and safe operation of food distribution sites. You will interact with children and parents, ensuring meal service runs on time and safely. Key Responsibilities:
Compliance and Recordkeeping
Reviewing Program Operations: Monitor meal patterns, verify family eligibility, and examine financial records. Assess compliance with recordkeeping requirements, including attendance, enrollment forms, and meal counts.
Ensuring Proper Documentation: Ensure that sites maintain all necessary documentation and records, such as meal pattern records, recipes, CN labels, and procurement documentation.
Reconciling Records: Reconcile meal counts, attendance, and enrollment records for accuracy. Conduct a 5-day reconciliation to compare records and identify potential over-claims, initiating corrective actions when necessary.

Onsite Reviews and Training
Conducting On-Site Visits: Review each site at least three times per year, with two unannounced visits. One visit must occur within the first six weeks of operation.
Observing Meal Service: Conduct reviews during meal service, observing various meal times throughout the year.
Assessing and Correcting Issues: Check if previously identified issues have been resolved and provide training to staff to address ongoing or new problems.
Providing Training and Technical Assistance: Help staff and participants understand their program responsibilities, offering training and technical assistance as needed.
Threat Response and Reporting
Responding to Threats: Address any imminent health and safety threats to children or adults in care promptly.
Notifying Authorities: Notify relevant licensing, health, or law enforcement authorities immediately if a threat is found.
Documenting Actions: Ensure that all review and corrective actions are properly documented and kept on file for potential administrative review.
Other Responsibilities:

Job Summary
Under the direction of the Branch Manager, the Shipping & Receiving Specialist is responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to shipping and receiving operations. This includes verifying the accuracy of materials received, routing incoming items to the appropriate department and locations, and preparing shipments for cost-effective courier services.
Essential Functions

Prepare shipments for postal or commercial conveyance, selecting the most economical and efficient shipping method and appropriate containers. Safely pack items to ensure secure delivery.
Prepare bills of lading and compare items to be shipped against work orders to ensure accuracy of quantities, destination, and routing.
Receive and unload incoming materials, comparing packing slip information with purchase orders to verify shipment accuracy. Process return shipments from customers and vendors when necessary.
Sort, count, package, label, insure, unpack, and log inventory for shipment or receipt.
Inspect shipments for damages or defects, record discrepancies or damages, and promptly notify supervisors and/or purchasing personnel.
Deliver items to requisitioning departments and obtain authorized signatures for accepted items.
Trace lost shipments and handle customer claims of lost shipments. Initiate proof of delivery documents.
Maintain department database, prepare routine reports, and file shipping/receiving records as needed.
Operate pallet jacks and/or forklifts to load and unload supplies and equipment. May operate company vehicles for delivery purposes.
Assist in routine maintenance of equipment and shipping area.
Adhere to established departmental policies, procedures, objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, and control standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions
Ability to operate computer systems and other standard office equipment.
Occasionally climb stairs.
Occasionally lifting and carrying objects (up to 70 pounds).

Responsibilities

+ Conduct pre-shift vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.

Qualifications

Job Overview and Responsibilities:
The sample prep technician is responsible for the processing of customer samples by following established standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safe practices.
The technician role requires receiving and following work instructions from the Branch Supervisor, Manager, admin personnel, and other support staff throughout the day to process and prioritize client samples. Working conditions include lifting and carrying (must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs) client samples to and from equipment during various stages of sample preparation. Employees are required to maintain their PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and always wear it while performing their work.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Receive, sort, and document sample information in our system, as well as any non-conforming samples (damaged, mislabelled, extra, missing, etc.).
Receive processing instructions from administrative and managerial staff through the medium of job notes: shift meetings, and various electronic tools such as SMS.
Use industrial equipment to carry out samples preparation for testing including drying, crushing, splitting, pulverizing, and other sample prep' processing in accordance with our standard operating procedures and policies.
Perform QC checks to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Inspect, monitor, and maintain equipment to ensure proper operation.
Clean equipment and stations daily to avoid possible contamination of samples and degradation of equipment.
Comply with OSHA, BV Group Policy and Procedures, Upstream Minerals Management System Policies and Procedures and ISO standards applicable to the Sample Preparation technician position.
Act in a safe and professional manner and wear appropriate attire including the required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Communicate general issues to the Sample Preparation supervisor as appropriate; report any deviation(s) from documented procedures, unsafe condition(s), and work non-conformances.
Submit to testing for silica exposure on a regular basis.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Previous experience in a Production environment is preferred, but not essential.
