APP Performs comprehensive assessments of physical, psychological, and spiritual concerns in patients with serious illness and their families.

NP or PA manages pain and non-pain symptoms in patients with serious illness.
Works in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team and the primary team to lead goals of care discussions for patients with serious illness.

Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant works with the interdisciplinary team to meet the emotional needs of the patient and family/caregiver.

The position is Monday-Friday 8-5 pm. No weekends or holidays. Establish a palliative clinic with access 1-2 days/week in-person and 5 days/week by telemedicine
APP will be primarily working in an embedded clinic/rooms with the outpatient Advanced Heart Failure team at the K-building in Detroit. Potential for some inpatient rounding at Detroit Hospital.
Experience as a Palliative Medicine APP (NP or PA) preferred. Will consider applicants with experience as an APP and applicants with considerable nursing experience.
Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week 8-5 pm. No Holidays or Weekends
GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Specialty/Invasive Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) will work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
The NP / PA will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, education, consultation, and care coordination as a first line provider to patients and their families.

Patient Representatives are instrumental in ensuring the efficient and effective flow of patient access needs throughout the organization. Responsibilities may include greeting and registering patients, gathering and entering appropriate demographic and insurance/billing information, verification, scheduling appointments, providing patients with financial information, price estimates and the collection and entry of payments. Current knowledge of billing and coding requirements and the ability to apply these based on industry standards is required. Ability to resolve patient financial issues and negotiate payment arrangements. Representatives must fully understand the ramifications and impact of incomplete or inaccurate information to patient care and the overall revenue cycle. Position works in a team environment and delivers exceptional customer service. Other duties as assigned. Employees providing direct patient care must demonstrate competencies specific to the population served.
* High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
* Patient Representatives assigned to an Emergency Department team will be placed into a weekend standby rotation based on facility. This standby rotation begins Friday at 7pm to Monday at 7am. This standby rotation could occur from two to no more than six times a year.
* Previous customer service experience required.
* Medical Terminology, CPT and ICD-10 coding strongly preferred.
* Basic typing at 45 WPM, basic ten key, and computer skills within a Windows environment.

Under general supervision, the Computed Tomography (CT) Technician specializes in performing computerized tomographic radiological procedures on patients and may also perform general diagnostic radiology examinations.

Resolve any image exceptions and ensure high-quality image delivery into PACS.
Complete all study indexing in the Radiology Information System (RIS).
Consistently demonstrate team member standards of excellence including communication, teamwork, and respect.
Document in the medical record as necessary to support clinical and billing functions.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Associates degree in Applied Science in Radiology.
BLS certification from AHA.
ARRT (CT) certification.
A minimum of 1 year of experience working in a hospital setting.
Experience in a fast-paced environment and ability to work independently.
Peripheral IV insertion experience or willingness to obtain training.

Summary
Responsible for conducting internal audits and monitors to ensure that the organization's processes and operations are in compliance with laws, corporate guidelines, best practices, and contractual agreements.
Job Description
Knowledgeable of general audit concepts and techniques, including the type of audits, the approaches and processes, and the subsequent activities, as they relate to internal audits. Demonstrates the ability to interpret Federal rules and regulations. Demonstrates the ability to research regulation from various data sources. Demonstrates an advanced knowledge and skill in analyzing patient records to identify non-conformances in Current Procedural Terminology (CPT), International Classification of Diseases, Tenth Edition (ICD-10), and Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS) code assignment. Demonstrates both knowledge and application of Sanford Health Systems, policies, procedures, and guidelines. Demonstrates commitment to continuous learning for themselves and performs as a role model to other coding staff.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Advanced diploma or degree in Health Information Management or healthcare related field is preferred.
Prior relevant compliance work experience is preferable. Two years' experience is required.
Certification in one of the following is required: Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or an equivalent. Certified Healthcare Auditor (CHA) certification to be completed within one year of employment is preferred.

Great opportunity for an APP to join our team who has a passion for evaluating and treating infertility & recurrent miscarriage. Position will rotate between our Rochester Hills and Troy clinic locations. This is a day position 40 hrs a week and shift varies between 8-10 hours. Potentially 1 weekend a month.
a. Responsible for conducting thorough patient consults, mostly telemedicine but occasionally in person: initial, follow up testing, follow up treatment, post-pregnancy ultrasound
b. Responsible for analyzing test results, including but not limited to: hysterosalpingogram images, saline sonogram images, lab results, semen analyses
c. Responsible for performing patient testing: saline sonogram, EXEMFOAM tubal patency testing, pelvic ultrasounds
d. Responsible for formulating treatment plans (COS) to be approved by physician: IUI, IVF, FET
e. Responsible for pre & post-op evaluations
f. Responsible for acting on abnormal lab results & imaging results
g. Communicate effectively with patients & staff members in order to provide the patients with the best care possible
h. Responsible for answering patient questions at a provider-level that may be forwarded to you from RN / MA
Provides inpatient and/or outpatient medical care. Takes patient history, performs physical examination, orders, and interprets tests, makes diagnoses, and institutes appropriate treatment programs.
Works in collaboration with staff physicians, house officers, nurses, and other medical care team members to ensure that patient outcomes are achieved safely and efficiently.
Specific procedures are individually credentialed as indicated by training and experience.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Master's degree in nursing -OR- Requires a bachelor's degree; completion of an AMA approved Physician Assistant program.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:
Certified Nurse Practitioner. Licensed as a Registered Nurse and Michigan state licensure or Physician Assistant Michigan state licensure and continued certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant (NCCPA)
Current BLS or ACLS as required. Current ATLS/PALS provider status as required by department.
