Job Description
Under general supervision, the Computed Tomography Technologist specializes in performing computerized tomographic radiological procedures on patients and may perform general diagnostic radiology examinations.
Responsibilities
Explain examination procedures to patients and prepare them for the examination.
Review clinical data and perform appropriate examinations, obtaining additional medical history as needed.
Prepare procedure rooms, regularly replenish stock, and set up equipment for CT scans.
Manually control equipment to obtain proper diagnostic information.
Administer intravenous contrast media and monitor patients for reactions.
Assist Radiologist in performing complex sterile diagnostic procedures, such as biopsies.
Ensure adherence to radiation protection principles and practices.
Resolve image exceptions and ensure high-quality image delivery into PACS.
Complete study indexing and documentation in the Radiology Information System.
Demonstrate excellent customer service and teamwork at all times.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and advanced registry in Computed Tomography (CT) or registry-eligible.
BLS certification required.
Structural heart and procedural experience preferred.

Bronson Lakeview Neurobehavioral Health is required to have all their employees participate in recipient rights education. This education is assumed by the Recipient Rights Offer.
The Office of Recipient Rights shall do all of the following:
* Provide or coordinate the protection of recipient rights for all directly operated or contracted services.
* Ensure that recipients, parents of minor recipients, and guardians or other legal representatives have access to The Rights Booklet of their rights guaranteed by the Michigan Mental Health Code and are notified of those rights in an understandable manner, both at the time services are initiated and periodically during the time services are provided to the recipient.
* Ensure that the telephone number and address of the Office of Recipient Rights and the name of Rights Advisor are conspicuously posted in all service sites.

* The Recipient Rights Officer and Advisors will have the education, training, and experience to fulfill the responsibilities of the Office of Recipient Rights. The Recipient Rights Officer and Advisors will receive training in recipient rights protection.
* Coordinate meetings and activities of the Recipient Rights Advisory Committee and be the holder of the record of this committee.
* Serve as advocate to all recipients and their families. Provide recipients assistance to make contact with other advocacy groups, as needed.
* Collaborate with Community Mental Health when appropriate.
* The Recipient Rights Officer shall submit to the governing board of BHG and to the State of Michigan Office of Recipient Rights an annual report prepared by the Office of Recipient Rights on the current status of recipient rights at Fieldstone Site and a review of the operations of the Office of Recipient Rights. The report shall be submitted no later than December 30, of each year for the preceding fiscal year or period specified in contract. The annual report shall include, at a minimum, all of the following: A) Summary data by category regarding the rights of recipients receiving services from Bronson Health Services-Fieldstone Site BBC including complaints received, the number of reports filed, and the number of reports investigated by the Office of Recipient Rights. B) The number of substantiated rights violations by category. C) The remedial actions taken on substantiated rights violations by category. D) Training received by associates of the Office of Recipient Rights. E) Training provided by the Office of Recipient Rights. Desired outcomes established for the Office of Recipient Rights and progress toward these outcomes. G) Recommendations to the BHG governing board.

The High School Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) specializes in five practice areas or domains: prevention of athletic injuries, recognition, evaluation and immediate care of athletic injuries, rehabilitation and reconditioning of athletic injuries, health care administration, and professional development. As part of a complete health care team, the Sports Team / School ATC works under the direction of a licensed physician (the Team Physician) and works in cooperation with the parents of the high school student-athlete, other health care professional, team coach and / or their support staff, e.g. assistant coaches, athletic director, athletic secretary, etc. in order to provide appropriate care. The High School ATC assumes responsibility for professional growth and maintains a high level of professional expertise. Direct delivery of student-athlete care to include triaging, performing assessments of patient's injuries, gathering medical history, history of present problem, fit patients with crutches/braces, and developing rehabilitation and injury prevention programs. Will coordinate patient services including self-care, develop home programs, and proper referral of injuries for evaluation, management, or treatment. Telemetry Technician PRN
Reports to the Critical Care Manager and/or designated charge nurse. The primary role of the Telemetry Technician is to monitor non-invasive cardiac activity on patients by means of a continuous display of the patient cardiac rhythm and also to monitor patients in the Emergency Department that are in danger of self-harm via closed circuit TV. The technician is able to interpret the rhythm and inform the nursing unit appropriately. Duties also include initiation and discontinuation of telemetry monitoring, and overseeing the pacer phone on off shifts and weekends.
