    Location: HF Detroit Main Hospital, Henry Ford Medical Center Columbus, Henry Ford Medical Center - Taylor Inpatient/Outpatient: 100% outpatient Patients: Mixed patient population. Position Overview: This full-time Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) position in Specialty Infusion at Henry Ford Health-Detroit offers a unique and highly specialized opportunity to support complex infusion therapies across multiple care settings. The role is primarily day shift and is based in Detroit, with required travel to Henry Ford Medical Center-Columbus, Henry Ford Medical Center-Taylor, and Henry Ford Hospital (Main). The APP will collaborate closely with specialty physicians and multidisciplinary teams to manage and support infusion patients, with a strong emphasis on safety, coordination of care, and clinical excellence. Candidates must have an infusion background, with RN infusion experience and pediatric (PEDS) experience strongly preferred. While infusion experience is required, the team is open to hiring a new graduate NP/PA who brings the appropriate clinical background and exposure. This is a very atypical role-unlike others in the system-offering exceptional opportunities to grow clinical skills, help build and expand the specialty infusion department and engage in extensive networking with multiple specialties and specialty providers across the Henry Ford Health system. Schedule - Full-Time, Days. Monday - Friday, 8-hour shifts. Weekend requirement - Yes, may need some on call coverage over the weekends. Call requirement - Yes, varies. Could need coverage or availability by phone at times for staff guidance. Qualifications: · NP - Completion of a Nurse Practitioner training program accredited by the Commission on the Collegiate of Nursing Education (CCNE) or the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) · PA - Completion of a Physician Assistant training program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) · NP - Certification by a certification body recognized by the State of Michigan · PA - Certification by National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) Licensure and Certification · Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of Michigan, or in process of applying (must have proof of application) · National certification as an NP or PA (e.g., ANCC, AANP, NCCPA) · Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required. · Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. · DEA/CSL, required through credentialing. o DEA - NPs do not have controlled substance licenses, only PAs. When NPs apply, they will enter MI license number instead of controlled substance license since they won't have a CSL. · PAL certified. Department would work with provider to get certified after hiring as well. Experience · Infusion background, with RN infusion experience and pediatric experience. Skills · Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills · Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment. · Commitment to patient-centered are and continuous professional development. Under the direction of the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) or applicable Medical Director and with guidance from a collaborating physician, the Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant is responsible for medical care consistent with accepted professional standards. Must adhere to the organizational Policies, Procedures, Code of Ethics, and all licensing and accreditation standards of the position. Must represent the organization's Mission in all actions and communications. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide excellent direct patient care in a comprehensive, compassionate, and team-based manner. Assist in the coordination and/or supervision of prevention services for patients. Provide medical evaluation and treatment of ill patients based on scientific knowledge. Provide medical care to all patients within the expectations of the specialty hired into. Family Practice: Primary care for all ages with a focus on prevention and disease management. Adult Medicine: Primary care for adults (17+) with a focus on prevention and disease management. Pediatrics: Primary care for infants, children, and adolescents with a focus on prevention and disease management. OB/GYN: Obstetric and gynecologic care for all with needs.
