The CRNA will be responsible for administering intravenous, inhalation, and regional anesthetics to render persons insensible to pain during surgical procedures, obstetrical deliveries, or other medical and dental procedures. Potentially administers anesthesia to all ages and A.S.A. classes of patients, including geriatrics and pediatrics. Provides airway management services as needed throughout the hospital. Work-Life: Cardiovascular, thoracic, general surgery, urology, vascular, neurosurgery, orthopedics, gynecology (including GYN oncology and urogynecology), ENT, plastic surgery, pediatric and bariatric surgery. Robotic Surgery includes advanced robotic techniques in cardiovascular, thoracic, urologic, and orthopedic specialties. Off Site anesthetics are performed in the Cardiac Cath Lab, Endoscopy, Interventional Radiology, MRI, and Obstetrics. On Call and Weekend shifts ONCE every 2-3 months Key Responsibilities: Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and develop tailored anesthesia care plans. Administer anesthesia (general, regional, or monitored anesthesia care) in collaboration with surgeons and other healthcare providers. Monitor patients during procedures and manage any anesthesia-related complications. Provide post-anesthesia care and pain management.
