Principal Duties and Responsibilities: * Open, sort, batch, and distribute incoming mail daily. * Utilize the scanner to record claim, cob and enrollment documentation according to appropriate inventory type. * Validate and release the recorded scanned documents into the appropriate database system. * Process unaccepted reports, Data Direction Incorporated-(DDI) returned mail, sorting and mailing of Explanation of Benefits (EOBs). * Mail request to provider for additional claim information when pertinent information is missing. * Maintain accurate files of claims, claims reports and all related documents. * Navigate through the CRM Pega system to create/close COB, and Claims processing pega cases for the appropriate COB Analyst and Claim Processor to analyze and resolve each case created. * Navigate through the Facet system to retrieve member or claims missing information. * Navigate through the Facet system to verify if a claim was previously submitted. * Navigate through the Facet system to input claim adjustment and appeals information for the appropriate Adjustment Processor to analyze and resolve. * Record daily production and time including CTO time. Compile bi-weekly reports reflection lost time information. * Provide back-up for other co-workers in the division. * Perform other related duties as assigned. MSSIC, MIBAC and MI Mind are housed at Henry Ford Hospital, and the other 17 CQI's are housed at the University of Michigan. The CQI QI Lead develops, supports, and evaluates QI Initiatives at all participating facilities (sites). This includes initiatives that are both site-specific and statewide. The CQI QI Lead performs all duties independently and professionally with minimal or no direction and consults with the Program Manager and Directors as appropriate. The Michigan Mental Health Innovation Network for Clinical Design (MI Mind) is a Collaborative Quality initiative (CQI) housed at Henry Ford Health in partnership with the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan Value Partnerships Program. They will be responsible for QI materials for each state-wide MI Mind meeting, including presentation slides and the delivery of those presentations. They must be comfortable with public speaking/presenting and are responsible for educational materials and presentations each year regarding QI processes and keys to quality improvement success. The QI lead will pilot QI Initiatives, track progress, and support initiatives as directed by MI Mind Leadership. They will provide expertise in the development of Value-Based Reimbursement initiatives and assist in the creation of meaningful and reasonable metrics and goals.
