    Henry Ford Health System is seeking an experienced full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our surgical team. The Surgical NP/PA will work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment and serve as a first-line provider, responsible for comprehensive patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, education, consultation, and care coordination for patients and their families. The NP/PA will assist in surgery and perform wound closure, with wound closure experience required and first-assist experience strongly preferred. Responsibilities include first or second assisting in surgical cases, taking patient histories, performing physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, formulating diagnoses, and initiating appropriate treatment plans. The APP will collaborate closely with attending surgeons, house officers, nurses, and the broader care team to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient outcomes. Specific procedures will be individually credentialed according to training and experience. This is a role for an experienced surgical APP; new graduate candidates are not being considered. Schedule - Full-Time. Hours will flex between 7-17:30. Provide coverage for patients when other providers take leave. Participate in after-hours call. Participate in regular chart review with collaborative physician per agreement. Participate in the peer review process. Follow clinic policies, procedures, and protocols to achieve Cherry Street Services Inc. goals and objectives.     Inpatient/Outpatient: 100% outpatient Henry Ford Plymouth Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Emergency Medicine team in a part-time role averaging 20 hours per week. The APP will manage an average of two patients per hour, with approximately 10% pediatric cases. Responsibilities include the initial evaluation, workup, treatment, and documentation of assigned patients, as well as providing meaningful assistance during critical patient scenarios. The APP will perform procedures independently or under guidance depending on experience and skill level, including incision and drainage, laceration repair, wound care, foreign body removal, and splinting. While preferred qualifications include prior experience as an Emergency Department APP, candidates without direct ED APP experience may still be considered-particularly those with a background as an ED RN or ED technician who demonstrate the ability to succeed in this environment. New graduates will be reviewed but are less likely to be selected. This position also offers potential opportunities for moonlighting at other Henry Ford satellite locations and the possibility of increasing FTE in the future, if desired.
