JOB SUMMARY: Texas School Ready (TSR) manages the delivery of services to reach the desired impacts of the assigned program area(s) and is responsible for developing and maintaining collaborative relationships, supervising staff and contractual team members and volunteers, developing and revising policies and procedures, and collecting and inputting client and service activity data, while ensuring that services provided are in alignment with the Social Determinants of Health through a trauma informed care lens as defined by the agency. The Specialist is also responsible for: writing proposals for program, developing and forecasting budget, managing budget, attending monthly meetings, budget and reporting, supervision/coordination, subcommittee meetings, peer review, departmental, and external and internal reporting of delivery of services. Additionally, the Specialist will provide program coaches with support for implementation of the TSR project. The Specialist will be responsible to implement a variety of strategies including side-by-side coaching, co-teaching, instructional planning, and reflective feedback with program coaches. The Specialist will collaborate with the Children's Learning Center at University of Texas Health Science Center Houston (CLI) staff to ensure TSR fidelity. The Specialist travels as necessary to provide coaching, training, and to attend meetings. ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:

The Coordinator of Elementary Religious Education is responsible for the application of a parish catechetical program(s) for youth up to age 11 and the academic component of Confirmation for our high school students. This position will work with the Youth Director in administrating parish faith formation programs, to include VBS. This position will also perform basic administrative duties related to the Faith Formation Program and will maintain files and records of students. The Elementary Religious Education Coordinator will also connect the parents and families in the program to the larger parish community. This person will also coordinate all sacraments with the school and parish sacramental preparation. Other responsibilities include: preparing and distributing weekly bulletin communication (both paper and electronic) to parents.
Responsibilities
Organizes, schedules and coordinates the faith formation for youth of a particular level or group or assists with this task.
Prepares and schedules sacramental programs and liturgies in cooperation with school.
Orders or assists in ordering textbooks, teaching materials and resources for the program.
Prepares or offers input on an annual budget and monthly grade level activities and updates.
Prepares or assists with a yearly calendar for the program and Faith Formation Commission and assists in compiling yearly parish master calendar.
Supports and endorses Diocesan and pastoral council and faith formation commission policies.
Supervises assigned grade levels or groups in the Faith Formation program.
Recruits or assists with eliciting catechists and volunteers for assigned levels or groups.

General Summary:
The Museum Educator, under general supervision, develops, implements, and evaluates educational programs and materials for primary and secondary students, special groups, and the general public. The Museum Educator will also be responsible for coordinating and facilitating on-site tours, distance learnings, outreaches, and labs. Responsibilities:
Plans, organizes and directs tours, programs, and curriculum for students via museum gallery space, outreach, STEAM Lab, Planetarium, and Science on a Sphere.
Develops and produces new, dynamic, TEKS aligned, STEAM related content and programs for public schools and other educational institutions, including both unaccompanied materials and staff accompanied resources.
Promotes the museum and its services to other educational organizations through contacts and presentations. Collaborate and liaise with educators and educational organizations to create new learning opportunities and community partnerships.
Plans and executes educational programming such as summer gallery programs, summer camps, Constitution Day, Week of the Young Child, and Dia de los Muertos. Provides educational programming based on the mission and goals to public school aged children.
Collaborates with the museum outreach team to plan and execute educational components for general museum programming.
Maintains educational data to track and evaluate student and teacher engagement, program implementation, and advance program development.
Coordinates with the PPHM Marketing team to develop and distribute educational materials, social media posts, and assist with media releases to promote educational offerings.
Provides educational components for permanent and temporary exhibits, including hands-on components and other accessible components.
Maintains 100% compliance with timely completion of required System, University and job-specific online training courses.

1. Outreach and recruitment of participants for community-based education, including efforts to minimize attrition.
2. Establishes and maintains a trusting and professional working relationship with families and the target population.
3. Collaborate with all HOPES FRC staff to provide community education.
4. Conduct group-based education sessions tailored to meet the needs of the target population. Topics include but are not limited to Early Child Development, Early Literacy, Infant Care, Parenting, Community-Based Resources & Benefits, etc.
5. Conduct surveys among the program participants to help identify the most needed topics.
6. Foster supportive connections between participants.
5. Ensure transportation, childcare, and meals for participants attending education sessions are available.
6. Disseminate educational material related to topics including but not limited to parenting, and early child development, prenatal/post-partum periods, caring for infants and toddlers, etc… to participants and within the target population's community.
7. Attend community events to perform outreach and recruitment.
8. Meets with the Program Director on a bi-weekly basis to evaluate the status of the education plan
9. Maintains timely and accurate file documentation and data entry that meets the program requirements.
10. Report any suspected abuse or neglect to the Program Director and all appropriate state and county enforcement agencies.
11. Maintains own schedule of education classes and events.
12. Identify and maintain professional relationships with clients and community partners.
13. Attend and participate in staff meetings, in-service training, and case consultations.
14. Maintains BCFS HHS professional and ethical standards of conduct outlined in the employee handbook, including demonstrating respect for agency staff, the service population, and community members and complying with the required dress code, at all times.

Measurable Deliverables:
1. Facilitate education sessions at least twice a month (in-person, virtual, or hybrid).
2. Collaborate with the Program Director to provide group-based education to a minimum of 108 participants annually.
3. Provide one-on-one sessions with clients as needed.
4. Document client visits, interactions, outcomes, and education provided to participants in Salesforce within two business days.
5. Create and oversee monthly education schedule.
6. Record all activities in a complete, concise, and timely manner utilizing program forms into Salesforce (BCFS) software.
7. Meet all deadlines required by the Program Supervisor, Program Director, Regional Director, and state/federal partners.
Requirements:
1. Maintain current licenses and certificates required for the position including but not limited to Firs Aid and CPR.
2. Valid Texas Driver's license with a clear driving record and reliable transportation.
3. Pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens.

The Coordinator of Elementary Religious Education is responsible for the application of a parish catechetical program(s) for youth up to grade 8. This position will work collaboratively with another staff Coordinator of Religious Education administrating a parish faith formation program that includes Religious Education sessions on Sundays and Wednesdays, Family Catechesis, First Holy Communion, Catechesis of the Good Shepherd and Vacation Bible School. This position will also perform basic administrative duties related to the Faith Formation Program and will maintain files and records of students. The Religious Education Coordinator will also connect the parents and families in the program to the larger parish community. Other responsibilities may include preparing and distributing weekly bulletin communication (both paper and electronic) to parents.
Responsibilities
Organizes, schedules and coordinates the faith formation for youth of a particular level or group or assists with this task.
Prepares and schedules or assists with sacramental programs and liturgies.
Orders or assists in ordering textbooks, teaching materials and resources for the program.
Prepares or assists with a yearly calendar for the program and assists in compiling yearly parish master calendar.
Supports and endorses Diocesan and pastoral council and faith formation commission policies.
Supervises assigned grade levels or groups in the Faith Formation program.
Recruits or assists with eliciting catechists and volunteers for assigned levels or groups.
Supervises or assists with appropriate in-service training and formation of catechists.
Advises and visits students, parents/guardians, catechists if problems or concerns arise.
Prepares or assists with liturgical celebrations for students and families.
Prepares and coordinates with the pastor/pastoral administrator sacramental rites for students.
Collaborates with pastoral staff to integrate the total faith formation plan for the parish.
Meets monthly with pastoral staff for planning and integration of Religious Education programs with whole parish programs.
Monitor and order supplies.
Coordinates preparation of the weekly bulletin section for Elementary Faith Formation.
Maintains constant communication with Faith Formation families.
Coordinates email announcements through Flocknote application.
Maintains and assists with sacramental records, notifications, and certificates on parish grounds per Diocese guidelines.
Coordinates with Safe Environment Coordinator to ensure all catechists and volunteers are in good standing with Archdiocese safe environments programs
Will attend development committee meetings or any other meetings assigned by the Pastor.
Instrumental in working with the parish school's faith formation program as needed.
Maintains continuous education and training in the faith.
Adheres to Archdiocese Code of Conduct and safe environment mandates.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Active member of a Roman Catholic parish faith community. (Sometimes this requirement may be satisfied by a person who has knowledge of and is willing to function in a manner consistent with the mission of the Catholic Church).
Undergraduate work in Theology, Catechesis or extensive parish experience as a CRE. Catechesis of the Good Shepherd

Three years of parish and/or administrative office experience
Proven experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point) and Adobe Acrobat.
