Inspects product for specifications using gauges and hand tools. Changes equipment on machine such as molds, blanks and rings. Completes required paperwork documenting operations and production. Uses hand tools such as swabs, tongs, and wrenches. All other duties as assigned. (full-time only) * Earn PTO+ for every quarter of perfect attendance (full-time only) * 6 Observed Holidays with premium pay or leave + 1 Floating Holiday for full-time employees * Up to $5,000 per in tuition/education reimbursement per calendar year for approved program of study * Take home up to 75% of your net earned wages at the end of every shift * 401(k) Retirement plan with company-matched contributions after 1 year of employment * Medical (Teledoc Included), Dental, Vision, Life and other voluntary Insurances for full-time employees * Have fun with contests and employee appreciation events every month Essential Functions of Direct Care Staff/Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA): * Direct Care Staff Answers signal lights and bells to determine resident needs * Assists residents with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair, and incontinence care * Obtains food trays and assists residents with feeding * Direct Care Staff Assists resident with range of motion exercises * Provides for personal care and comfort * Movement to wheelchair or activity areas * Direct Care Staff Assists residents with ambulation for short distance in facility * Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates, and food and fluid intake and output, as directed * Direct Care Staff Provides direct and indirect resident care services * Meets the communication needs of resident and family * Communicates to nursing team changes in residents' clinical condition * Must be able to implement the behavior Intervention Plan as written * Direct Care Staff must be able to implement behavior intervention techniques as written in the crisis interventions procedures * Identifies, reports, and responds to extreme behavior, such as verbal aggression, biting, hitting, kicking, throwing items (food, objects, bodily fluids), self-inflicted injuries, property damage, etc., in accordance with applicable local, state and federal regulations and Lake Drive policies and procedures. * Completes Behavior reports per shift as needed * Must complete maintenance work orders * Other duties as assigned Qualifications of Direct Care Staff/Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA): * Must maintain current certification as a CNA or DDCA * Obtain and maintain MANDT certification * Obtain and maintain CPR/First Aid certification * Experience supporting persons with intellectual disabilities is preferred * Candidates must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication. * Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations * Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and facility staff * Must be able to give verbal instructions to the individuals and staff as well as write, type, interpret and document Program Plans/Active Treatment Goals and Objectives * Must maintain patience and composure * Close eye work (computers, typing, reading, writing) 20-80% * Sedentary (continuous sitting) 20% * Light work (standing, walking, lifting * Moderate work (lifting, moving, loading >15-30lbs, prolonged use of small hand tools, climbing ladders) 20-80% * Heavy/Hark work (above average strength and stamina, lifting >51 lbs., constant shoveling etc.) 20% EEO Statement: Our facility provides equal employment opportunities.
