Position Description:
Laborers have general responsibility to provide support and assistance to the other skilled crafts working on the project. Laborers provide support for the form carpenters and for the concrete operation in general, ironworkers/rodbusters involved in installing reinforcing steel, and masons involved in the installation of block and brickwork. This is a safety sensitive position.

Essential Duties:
* Preparation of areas for the placement of concrete involves final excavation of dirt and rock and fine grading for floor slabs. This work involves shoveling for extended periods of time.
* Assembly of concrete forms, laborers are required to lift form prefabricated metal form panels and assist in their placement.
* Handle the concrete bucket suspended from a crane that transfers the concrete from the concrete truck to the placement area. After the concrete is poured from the bucket, laborers muck the concrete in slabs to spread it evenly.
* After the concrete has cured, the laborers assist in stripping the concrete forms and transporting them for storage.
* Assist concrete finishers in moving power trowels and power screeds used to finish the concrete surface.
* Support of block masons installing masonry work by handling and transporting bags of cement, lime, sand, and grout. This includes stocking blocks and bricks.
* Assist carpenters in handling and setting door frames. This entails transporting the door frames from the storage area to the work areas and stacking the door frames where needed.
* Loads, unloads, and identifies building materials, machinery, and tools. Distributes site materials to the appropriate locations, according to project plans and specifications. Responsible for ensuring that all materials are properly distributed, and the site is swept and well maintained.
* Promotes a safe work environment and communicates jobsite hazards. This includes helping to secure the jobsite at the end of business each day and verifying that all site materials are properly stored.

Apply appropriate calculation methodologies and standards, such as the GHG Protocol, to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Reporting & Compliance: Prepare comprehensive internal and external sustainability reports, again, primarily scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions data disclosures. Collaborate with accounting team and external auditors to verify data integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements. May also include support in answering pre-qualification requests from customers, ESG disclosures, and climate financial risk disclosure
Strategy & Target Setting: Design and execute emission reduction strategies that align with Mortenson's sustainability objectives. Set and track progress toward targets and support the identification and implementation of innovative decarbonization pathways.
Software & Tools: Lead the transition from traditional spreadsheets to advanced carbon accounting software solutions. Leverage tools for real-time monitoring, forecasting, and enhanced reporting efficiency.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with teams across Operations, Procurement, Finance, Accounting, and others to embed sustainability considerations into business processes and decision-making.
Climate Risk: May support climate risk assessments focused on both mitigation and adaptation, providing actionable insights to support strategic business decisions and resilience planning.
May support the implementation and administration of sustainability program at company, operating group, and project level(s).
Demonstrated expertise in sustainability, with a particular focus on scope 1, 2, and 3 inventory management.
Strong track record of collaboration within cross-functional teams.
Proven leadership and mentoring abilities.
Advanced competencies in data analysis and reporting.
Exceptional communication skills and strategic thinking capabilities.
Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
Preferred five plus years of experience in sustainability roles, preferably in construction or infrastructure.
Proven experience with emissions inventory and sustainability reporting
Valid driver's license

The base pay range for this role is $99,000 MIN - $148,600 MAX. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL - 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR - 10%, Washington, D.C. - 12.5%).
Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity. This position is eligible for Mortenson's incentive plan.

Position Description:
The Assistant Construction Superintendent is the field representative of the Company and is responsible for the safe completion of projects within budget, on schedule, to the company's quality standards, and to the customer's satisfaction. The Assistant Construction Superintendent will work closely with the project team to ensure safety compliance, craft supervision and production, trade partner coordination, scheduling, material handling, daily reports, quality control and craft training are handled to the Company's standards.
Position Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field, and/or a combination of equivalent education and experience.
* Five (5) years' experience in construction management or a related field required.
* Professional accreditations desirable.
* Must possess a valid driver's license.
* Must be able to function as part of a high-performance team.
* Excellent working knowledge of construction methods, facilities operations and building systems.
* Familiarity with strategic planning.
* Ability to work collaboratively in mobile work environment.
* Software proficiency in MS Office and report writing applications.
* Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Essential Duties:
* Ensure safety is properly incorporated into job planning and execution by enforcing policies by actively participating in all safety related functions.
* Create AHAs/STAs with Foreman for all self-performed work. Review AHAs for trade partners.
* Create material handling and site utilization plans for specific areas. Coordinate with Project Coordinator on material needs, RFIs, etc.
* Engage in project scheduling activities while upholding a well-maintained four-week project schedule.
* Coordinate and supervise company work force in his/her area.
* Facilitate the coordination and scheduling of trade partners, actively engaging in weekly scheduling meetings alongside trade partner's foremen.
* Maintain accurate time keeping, project logs, and cost records.
* Ensure material received is properly inspected for quantity and quality, and that the receiving tickets are properly signed and coded and given to the jobsite administrator.
* Responsible for all quality control on the project, both Company and subcontractors.
