Material Handler As a Material Handler you will be responsible for loading, unloading, processing and storing hazardous and nonhazardous waste materials at a permitted waste treatment facility with supervision. Essential Functions & Requirements: * Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and consistently maintaining safe practices * Loads, unloads and processes solid and liquid waste safely in accordance with Company, Federal, State and Local rules and regulations * Operates a fork truck and Bobcat with attachments * Directs liquid waste through a system of pumps to tanks for storage * Performs basic spill cleanup and housekeeping duties as directed * Perform chemical compatibility checks to prevent reactions and other issues * Utilizes barcode system equipment to document certain inventory activities * Reviews laboratory data to determine proper handling and disposal of materials * Uses Department of Transportation (DOT) knowledge to match and label inbound materials for storage and shipping of containers to other sites * Utilizes proper equipment to remove samples of materials for analysis and compatibility checks * Operates a hydraulic baler for cardboard and other materials * Maintains operating areas, walls, pipes, and floors in a clean and safe condition * Utilizes knowledge of applicable EPA, DOT, OSHA and permit regulations * Utilizes Arcwood coding and labeling systems to handle and manage containers * Utilizes appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed including boots, gloves, suits, eye/ear protection and a respirator * Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization Education: * High-school diploma or equivalent (required) Experience: * 1+ years of related experience (required) * 40 hour HAZWOPER certificate (preferred) Competencies: * Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner * Working knowledge of EPA, DOT, and OSHA regulations and general industry practices * Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate with internal and external contacts * Ability to lift up to 60lbs * Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed, including a respirator * Regular and predictable attendance to perform the essential functions and requirements of this role Benefits, Compensation, & Workforce Diversity: Arcwood offers competitive pay and bonus incentives. Talent Acquisition Specialist The Talent Acquisition Specialist will play a key role in identifying, sourcing and evaluating talent, while effectively assisting applicants through the stages of the Arcwood talent acquisition lifecycle. This role will assist with administrative tasks and functional projects to support the Talent Acquisition team, the Human Resources department and business objectives as Arcwood seeks to grow. Corporate Account Coordinator I As a Corporate Account Coordinator I you will be responsible for providing account management and customer support, acting as the single point of contact for assigned customer accounts. This role will work as part of a team with the Sales department to maintain established accounts, grow existing accounts, and support new business to achieve Company revenue and waste volume goals. Essential Functions & Requirements: * Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times * Serves as a single point of contact (SPOC) and technical resource for Corporate accounts * Assists in determining regulatory requirements for customer waste any biproducts * Maintains responsibility for all aspects of customer experience for Corporate accounts including waste profiling, scheduling, invoice review, profitability, and the promotion of all business lines * Participates in the development of proposals and business plans to create new business or further expand relationships with the assigned Corporate account * Ensures that all contract terms and pricing are being adhered to at all locations * Manages all communications with multiple customer locations/facilities for assigned Corporate account(s) * Develops and implements solutions for various customer needs/issues * Negotiates with multiple service vendors and communicates/coordinates services for assigned account(s) * Conducts profit/cost analysis of current management methods to ensure that the most profitable method is being used, making changes as needed to increase margin dollars * Travels to customer sites to evaluate current waste/biproduct management practices or to audit plans developed by Arcwood as needed * Completes invoice/serve follow-up surveys to ensure customer satisfaction * Coordinates and manages data collection systems and reports for customers * Provides service to customers until 5:00pm Mountain and Pacific Time as needed * Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization Education: * Bachelor's degree (required); degree within environmental science or science (preferred) Experience: * 3+ years of successful customer experience management (required) * Previous experience within the hazardous waste or environmental field (preferred) Competencies: * Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders * Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite applications * Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities * Strong knowledge of RCRA, DOT, and state regulations * Ability to travel on occasion as needed to support customers * Regular and predictable attendance to perform the functions and requirements of this role Benefits, Compensation, & Workforce Diversity: Arcwood offers competitive pay and bonus incentives. Payroll Coordinator As a Payroll Coordinator you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of multi-state payroll operations for a growing organization. This role will serve as a subject matter expert for payroll and timekeeping systems and will perform weekly and biweekly payroll processing, including managing the data entry process, auditing and finalizing payroll. Operations Technology & Automation Engineer As the Operations Technology & Automation Engineer you will be responsible for Arcwood's automation strategy and implementation by designing, programming, simulating, and testing automated processes while assisting with reliability and risk aversion across the enterprise. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of automation systems and maintain optimal performance and requires continuous learning and adaptation to new technologies and methodologies. This role reports to the Director, Corporate Engineering within the Operational and Engineering Center of Excellence. Essential Functions & Requirements: * Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and always maintaining safe practices * Actively reviews practices, workflows and systems to identify opportunities and advises on appropriate interventions for process improvements that impact production and business results * Facilitates change management by engaging with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of system-based, proactive and automated improvements; provides training and support to employees at all levels to encourage the adoption of new processes and tools * Drives knowledge exchange with technology experts (plant resources, engineering solutions, internal/external consultant groups, sister plants, etc.) to increase awareness of potential improvement opportunities * Monitors the effectiveness of implemented initiatives and makes necessary adjustments * Identifies new technologies and processes that can improve equipment performance and automation * Designs and develops advanced automated systems and processes; simulates and tests processes to ensure acceptable functionality * Programs, troubleshoots ladder logics and codes automation software solutions * Identifies and resolves system malfunctions and inefficiencies; conducts root cause analyses and corrective actions for system failures * Continuously monitors and upgrades existing automation systems for improved performance * Documents all aspects of the automation process, including development and implementation * Provides technical support and training to end-users * Integrates IT and OT systems to ensure seamless communication between different technological layers * Creates and maintains project timelines and budgets * Evaluates new technologies and tools to enhance automation capabilities; analyzes business processes and equipment end-to-end to identify improvements and recommend solutions * Develops Manufacturing 4.0 based process control strategies & controller network systems * Creates and presents reports on initiatives and their impact to leadership * Maintains the ability to travel to Arcwood facilities as needed, up to 40% * Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization Education: * Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or related field (required) * Master's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field (preferred) Experience: * 10+ years of proven experience in controls systems, programming and automation (required) Competencies: * Excellent analytical, problem-solving and project management skills * Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders * Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, drive change and influence others * Results-orientation with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret information from a variety of sources * Ability to see the big picture, while translating details into an organizational perspective * Analytical thinking, with the ability to think critically and logically, as well as the ability to work with large sets of data and concisely make sense of them * Technical aptitude and a strong understanding of the systems, equipment, and processes at hand, including knowledge of the engineering principles and specific systems used across the organization * Strong ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously and effectively, including planning, scheduling, and organizing * Strong attention to detail and precision when analyzing data, implementing improvements and documenting results * Advanced knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++, Structured Text, Open AI * Knowledge of and experience with automation software and hardware platforms * Knowledge of PLC, HMI, SCADA, and DCS systems - ABB, Honeywell, Siemens, Rockwell, Delta V, Allan Bradley, Ignition etc., * Knowledge of and experience with machine learning and AI applications in automation * Strong knowledge in designing and programming automation systems * Knowledge of robotics and control systems * Familiarity with manufacturing and production processes * Understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems Benefits, Compensation, & Workforce Diversity: Arcwood offers competitive pay and bonus incentives.
