Job Summary
Join our team as a Substrate Processing Technician and play a key role in creating the foundation for our high-quality mushroom-based nutritional supplements. You'll be hands-on in preparing and perfecting the substrate that supports the healthy growth of our mushrooms, an essential step in bringing nature's wellness to life!
Key Responsibilities
Ensures a safe work environment by following and enforcing all safety rules, maintaining strong safety awareness, and participating in required safety training and meetings.
Prepares the substrate by cooking organic brown rice (or other substrate material) using industrial kettles.
Operates all equipment including but not limited to: Boiler, Autoclave, and Pallet Jacks according to work instruction and training, detects issues, and troubleshoots solutions.
Complete accurate documentation and data entry.
Promotes a work environment that meets cGMP regulations by following all established policies and procedures and completing all required cGMP training.
Fosters teamwork by collaborating with peers and assisting as needed to meet all daily objectives.
Communicates all items of concern, process improvement recommendations, and the need for additional resources to management.
