Responsibilities DUTIES Feed and care animals on weekends and holidays as well as staff vacation days as requested. Communicate with Facilities Manager of any issues or emergencies as it relates to animals. Performs work in accordance with sound safety practices Perform routine safety inspections. Represent The Salvation Army in a manner that brings glory to God. Assist in every way requested to carry out the spiritual and total mission of The Southwest Ohio & Northeast All other duties assigned. Our Farm Hand will complete required tasks including hay feeding, grain feeding, husbandry tasks, temporary fence lines, waterline repair, pasture rotations, stall cleaning, animal housing maintenance, medical treatments, and continual observation of animal behavior to determine wellbeing. Operating farm equipment and implements is required for the completion of tasks.
