Principal Accountabilities
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues independently
Apply strong problem-solving and programming troubleshooting skills, preferably with Allen-Bradley

Position Summary
Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment such as injection molding, compression molding, mixing, milling and extruding machines.
Responsibilities
Perform electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance to injection molding, compression molding, mixing, milling and extruding machines.

Qualifications
Must possess High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED).

Work in various areas of the plant locations is required. Dependent upon the area, environmental conditions can be hot, cold, dirty, greasy, wet, and noisy.
Requirements:
A minimum of 1 year of manufacturing and/or industrial experience (including relevant experience gained in military service) or equivalent education. This includes experience in any of the following: industrial electronics, motors and controls, schematics and electrical power, print reading, computers and PLC's, electronics, AC/DC theory, power, test instruments and instrumentation, electrical maintenance, commercial construction and installation.

Proven ability to work in a team environment
Working knowledge of GMP, OSHA and Production needs.
Work Environment: The job is performed in production areas where the person will be exposed to strong aromas, airborne dust particles emanating from ingredients being used, and will be in the presence of or otherwise operating machinery.

Install, debug and stabilize plant equipment as required.
Assist in Production/Maintenance related assignments as needed.

Position Summary
This position will aid in general upkeep and maintenance equipment to ensure high-quality products that meet customer, Quality Assurance (QA), and United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) specifications to guarantee satisfaction. This job requires standing, bending, squatting, and lifting 50 lbs. through the entire shift. Applicants must be self-motivated and excited about working in a team environment.

Essential Functions:
Installs replacement belts, filters, gears, chains and valves.
Troubleshoots pneumatic, electric mechanical machine problems and makes necessary repairs.
Performs repairs to machines involving machine guarding, bolt replacement and breakdowns due to mechanical wear.
Performs preventive maintenance tasks such as lubricating parts, drives chains, etc.
Assists with facility upkeep and maintenance - both internal and external
Manage parts inventory
Assist in other departments as needed
Other duties may be assigned based on company needs.
Experience:
2+ years of experience in the maintenance field
Experience reading schematics preferred
Electrical troubleshooting experience preferred
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand for 8 hours
Must lift 50+lbs repeatedly
