Heritage Valley Sewickley School of Nursing provides the academics you need to become an RN in an environment that prepares you for the rigors of the profession. Students in the Sewickley School of Nursing have access to the resources and opportunities of the Heritage Valley Health System, allowing you to gain on-the-job experience as you learn. The Sewickley School of Nursing's RN program is a two-year, four-term course that combines college academics and vocational training. In addition to classes in writing, psychology and sociology, you'll also study a variety of nursing specializations, including maternity, children's, psychiatric, surgical and critical care. Admissions requirements for the Sewickley School of Nursing include a $50 application fee, three professional references and a pre-admissions exam. To start in the fall term, you must have submitted your completed application by June 1. Financial aid at the Sewickley School of Nursing is need-based. Assistance comes from federal and state sources, such as the Pell and FSEO grants. These programs require the FAFSA for consideration, so make sure to file one early.
