Works closely with patients to provide physical assistance with daily living tasks, such as dressing, bathing, feeding, toileting, vital signs, catheter care, answering call lights, assisting with ambulation, turning, and ensuring patient safety. Technical skills may include obtaining 12 lead EKG, setting up respiratory equipment, glucometer monitoring, bladder catheterization and transcribing orders, when indicated.
Qualifications:
Required: High school graduate or equivalent. Excellent bedside manner and customer service & computer skills.
Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.

Purpose:
