The Palletizer is responsible for efficiently and accurately stacking products or materials onto pallets in preparation for shipping or storage. This role ensures that products are properly arranged, secured, and labeled, contributing to effective inventory management and safe transportation.
Complete a daily inspection report of the pallet jack at the start of each shift. Report any deficiencies that would not allow safe use of the pallet jack immediately to the shipping supervisor.
Order pickers will report to the load controller to receive load pick tickets.
Order pickers will work with the high lift drivers to drop product required based on the pick ticket.
Order pickers will be required to hand stack boxes, separate products by date if required by the customer and wrap pallets with a pallet wrapper or wrap pallets by hand.
Order pickers will be required to check product code dates to ensure the oldest product is being picked or dates are being picked that adhere to the customer date restrictions.
Order pickers will move the product to the dock and work with the loader when needed.
Order pickers will be using scan guns to build pallet tags, complete pallet inquiries, ship orders, transfer products to various warehouses and complete customer returns.
