What you will do: The Utility Operator provides entry-level work in production departments within the plant in both cheese and cold storage. The position is responsible for keeping the plant areas in a safe, sanitary, and efficient working order. This position provides work coverage for Operators when needed for absences, training, or other job assignments. A Utility Operator may be assigned to special job duties if needed. Here's a day in life: * Assists in the setup, cleaning, and operation of the towers, sealers, and boxers. * Maintain a clean work area and follows good manufacturing practices (GMP) standards. * Ability to understand ERP/NAV and use interface. * Assist maintenance in troubleshooting problems with equipment. * Maintain the general housekeeping according to the Make Room MSS. * Other duties that may be assigned by supervisor/lead during the course of the day.
