Essential Duties & Responsibilities: * Set tables, including tablecloth, flatware, china and centers. Clear table and reset at a quick pace. * Greet guests immediately upon their being seated, with coffee and juice in the morning and bread in the afternoon, evening and during buffets. * Stock stations, to include linen, and maintain their order and cleanliness. * Check that glassware and silver are clean and polished, inspecting for spots, residual soap and fingerprints. * Stock clean silver. * Keep ice bins in kitchen, at bar and on floor full, returning ice scoop to proper location. * Make coffee and ensure that pots are full, properly marked and polished. * Stock adequate numbers of coffee cups and saucers inside stations, checking that they are clean and free of stains. * Check and maintain the stock of B & B's, caddies, creamers, and clean towels. * Carry trays of dirty dishes to dishwasher and unload rack properly. * Clean up spills immediately, especially around ice bin. * Offer desserts to guests at the end of their meal, describing each dessert clearly and accurately. * Provide coffee and tea service. * Close side work by cleaning area, re-stocking supplies and refilling condiments. * Set-up and break down special events and buffets, to include moving tables, chairs and other furniture as necessary. * Set-up food on the buffet table and transport food from the kitchen to the buffet as needed. * Assist Servers as necessary, throughout meal service. * Comply with all Pebble Beach Company safety, health and general policies and procedures. Absolutely Required Skills: * Good communication skills. * Food safety certification required. * High school diploma or equivalent. Desired Skills: * Previous experience preferred. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: * Clear tables and reset them quickly making sure all china, glass, and silver going out is clean. * Greet guests immediately and offer coffee and orange juice (in the morning) and Edamame beans (in the afternoon/evening). * Retrieve linen at the beginning of each shift and bring it on a dolly upstairs to the stations. * Load the ice bin. * Brew coffee and ensure the pots are full and marked (regular or decaf). * Maintain cleanliness of jam and sugar caddies and restock them properly with a variety of each. * Fold and maintain napkins inside stations. * Make sure Edamame beans are heated in hot water. * Carefully pre-slice Baguette loaves for bread service. * Responsible for stocking all stations with linen, silverware, share plates, glasses, coffee cups, saucers, etc. * Be aware of the importance of clearing and resetting tables correctly. * Responsible for buffing all glass and silver for dining room. * Willingness to work in a fast paced, high volume environment. * Must be able to lift full trays of glasses and china (up to 30 lbs) and unload into dishwashing area properly. * Respond immediately to guest requests and inform server in area or manager. * Responsible for cleanliness of the overall dining room. Vacuum dining room as needed. Keep areas next to ice bins dry. * Assist staff with running food, helping with guest issues, and menu questions. * Assist host stand, and seating when necessary. * Attend monthly meetings. * Comply with all Pebble Beach Company safety and health policies and procedures.
